Everything in jims is good, a good computer lab with ample amount of systems, projectors for smart and e-learning, good canteen facility and also a very good environment to study and gain good knowledge.
Good quality of teachers, all are well educated and really good in explanations. Curriculum is updated. Teachers help the student to understand the thing and repeats it until the student understands the topic.
Good placements from companies like TCS, Wipro etc. Though, the student should also be good performing in his course, if he is good in studies and have knowledge about the topic, he can easily get placement from the college.
It costs apx. 70k for one semester, it's worth it as the quality of teaching is really good here. Also they provide you with all the necessary amenities related to the course, the canteen is good, the library has a wide range of books.
Completely safe location, students can get a lot to learn, though the campus is a bit small compared to others, but overall it's a good environment as well as the infrastructure of the college is also good
Yes the college has necessary infrastructure and facilities including computar labs, library, mass communication lab, radio lab, etc. Which are well maintained. The canteen is clean and the food is hygienic
I am studying Bachelors in Journalism and Mass Communication. The syllabus of the course selected was interesting. The quality of teaching is good. Teachers pay attention to all of the students. The course is updated.
The quality of placements have been good. According to my research, students who passed out from this college got jobs at good posts. The college helds special meetings for placements of students every year.
The cost is of the course is high. It is 1.3 lakh per semester. Well private institutions fo have high money but the faculty is good. The campus area is small. The canteen is fine . The facilities are fine.
The crowd of the college is good the students are well behaved and kind and supportive. The faculty is also really supportive and guides us through the right path. Its location is not favourable as the nearest metro station is far from the college.
The college 'campus' is pretty is pretty much non existent. They lack any sports facilities, hostels and have a very tiny campus. But what all they do have is top notch. The classes, smart boards, and labs are great. In addition, they also have great facilities for BA(JMC) students. The print journalism lab, the audio visual recording room and the radio room are amazing and not available in many top colleges.
The curriculum is well updated and topics/programs that are in use in modern times are given priority. Teachers are also up to date with the modern syllabus and teach you extra handy information for surviving in the rat race ahead.
I'm still a 1st year so I don't know much about placements but from what I've heard from my seniors its pretty decent for a newbie. You can get anywhere from 3L-6L per annum. Of course a lot of it depends on your overall performance throughout the 3 years and how well you do in the interview.
It costs around 1.3L for general students. Management Quota students of course have to pay more amount.
I'd say the 'on campus' life ain't much but they still deliver basic 'campus life'. They might not have the required facilities but they make up for it by conducting them in different locations. Fests, Freshers part, farewell party, trips and such are conducted from time to time and they are pretty good.
