Yes, JECRC Foundation takes admission in CS only through REAP counselling. For CS branch, a general category student should aim for a rank below 12,000–15,000. For OBC/SC/ST, admission is possible even up to 25,000–30,000. But seats fill fast, so apply early.

Hello,

Thanks for your detailed query. Let’s break this down step by step so you get a clear idea.

First, between BKBIET Pilani, Poornima College, and JECRC Jaipur, here’s a quick comparison for Computer Science:

  • JECRC Jaipur is considered better overall in terms of placement, infrastructure, and reputation compared to BKBIET.
  • Poornima is also good, especially in Jaipur, but JECRC has slightly stronger industry connections and more consistent placement records.
  • And BKBIET Pilani is decent, but if you’re comparing only for CSE, then JECRC > Poornima > BKBIET.

Now, about getting CS in JECRC without REAP , unfortunately, JECRC participates in REAP counselling for regular admissions. So unless they open management quota seats or spot admission later, it’s tough to get CS without REAP.

You can check their official website for direct admission possibilities or call their admission office and request if there are any vacant seats or internal quota options.

Best wishes for your engineering journey!

Previous year's trends for JECRC Foundation indicate that closing ranks for B.Tech specializations like AI/DS/AIDS and IT have gone beyond 10,000 to 20,000 in previous years for the General category. Your EWS rank of 2478 is significantly lower, which may increase your chances of admission.

There is a possibility of getting AI and DS in JEECRC at EWS rank 2478 but it totally depends on seat availability and other factors. Participate actively in counselling and get more details by contacting JEECRC.

Good luck!!

Your REAP 2025 merit ranks are general 3992, obc 1939, tfws 3173. With these ranks you may get admission under tfws and obc quota in many good engineering colleges in rajasthan. Tfws branch cutoffs often range like cse closing around 18000, ece around 30000, it near 28000 ranks. So your tfws rank 3173 is well within range for even top branches in private institutes or govt colleges that offer tfw seats.

1, Your general rank 3992 and tfws 3173 sit within safe limits for branches like cse ece it in many rajasthan colleges based on previous cutoff trends

Hello Aditya

As you got around 5000 rank in REAP, yes you can certainly get CSE or CSE related branches in JECRC in Reap first round.

The expected cutoff of CSE at JECRC is around 18,000 and you are well within that range so you can certainly get that.

Here's more info about REAP: REAP by CAREERS360

Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!

Hello!

So according to your rank in REAP that is 5000 in 2025 you can get admission into CSE or CSE related branches at JECRC Jaipur in the first round especially if  you belong to Rajsthan or you are from reserved category. It is a very good college but if you are from another state your chances decrease little. So if you didn't get into first round ,you will get it in the second or third round.

Make sure to check the official REAP counselling portal daily for updates.

Hello sir,

Thanks for reaching out!

with an EWS rank of 1605 in REAP 2025 getting CSE at JECRC may be tough in early rounds. However you may still have a fair chance in CS related branches like IT,AI,ML,Data Science during later rounds. If you don't get JECRC you still have good chances of securing CS or related branches in other reputed college such as:

Poornima College of Engineering

Global Institute of Technology

SKIT,Jaipur

Arya College.

To increase your chances make sure to fill maximum choices during counselling and definitely participate in the spot round,as many students withdraw and seats open up.

Certainly, with a 90.20% in your Class 12 board exams, you meet the eligibility criteria for admission to JECRC Foundation, even without a JEE score. The institute offers direct admission either through their management quota or on the basis of academic merit, particularly favoring candidates with strong board results like yours.

To clarify:

- Eligibility for BTech requires at least 45% in PCM, which you easily surpass.

- Admissions are available both on a merit basis for high-performing students and via the institute-level quota, which does not require JEE.

You’ll need to submit your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, a photo ID, some passport-sized photographs, and other basic documents as part of the application process.

JECRC offers a variety of courses including Computer Science, IT, ECE, Mechanical, Civil, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, among others.

For further details or to begin your application, you can visit jecrcfoundation.com or contact their admissions helpline for guidance.

College Infrastructure

so basically, if talk about the overall infrastructure of JECRC is average. But if talk about the branch wise or year wise buildings, classrooms, auditoriums then it lacked for some branches like ECE, IT ...because their classrooms are bit old. but in branches like AIDS, they got fully air conditioned classroom, digital boards for presentations etc. If we talk about the canteen then its not so big and suffocated .

JECRC College Review

College Infrastructure

The college has all the basic infrastructure. Well-structured academic blocks, multiple laboratories, huge playground, cafeteria and multiple auditoriums are present within the college premise. Despite of being a reputed college in Jaipur, it lacks digital classrooms and free campus Wi-Fi. Hostel facilities are satisfactory, clean and hygienic.

My college life is a good academics and cultural experience

College Infrastructure

In JECRC my most liked part is the library which provides all the necessary books but the labs don’t provide nice instruments. It has a cafeteria for refreshments. Blocks for each department and a also a cultural room for all the cultural clubs to practice for competitions. The college all the necessary sports equipments and a good wi-fi in all the labs.
