Thanks for approaching us, on comparing IPEC with KIET for Mechanical Engineering then KIET is a better choice.

KIET is among the best for mechanical under UPTU/ AKTU affiliated colleges.
It has a very active SAE Baja and student run clubs.

Since your Girl rank is 883. You should try for CSE, IT, ECE, EEE branch. The colleges you should be looking for : AKGEC, BBDIT, KIET, JSS, Galgotias, GL Bajaj, RKGIT, NIET.
