Lakshmibai College offers admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step of the Lakshmibai College Delhi admission process. The college offers merit-based admissions to the undergraduate programmes. The undergraduate programmes offered by the college are B.A., B.A. (H), B.Com, B.Com (H) and B.Sc. (H). For Lakshmibai College admission on the basis of merit, Delhi University releases the cutoff. After the selection of the course and college by the candidates, seats are allotted on the basis of merit scores of the best four subjects in 10+2. As per the Lakshmibai College Delhi admission procedure for the postgraduate programmes, 50% of the seats are allotted on the basis of merit of the qualifying exam (only for DU graduates) and the remaining 50% of the seats are allotted on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). The university releases the cutoff after the declaration of the result. Candidates meeting the cutoff have to register for DUET counselling. Finally, for Lakshmibai College Delhi admission, candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.

50% of the seats are filled on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination and the rest 50% of the seats are filled on the basis of entrance test.
Third, for merit-based admission, candidates should have passed graduation in the relevant stream from University of Delhi only and for entrance-based admission, candidates have to appear for Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET), conducted by NTA.
Fourth, candidates appearing for DUET have to meet the cutoff, after which ranks and merit list are released.
Fifth, candidates meeting the cutoff have to register and appear for DUET counselling and select Lakshmibai College Delhi.
Sixth, for entrance-based admission, seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test and participation in the counselling.

Lakshmibai college is a nice college. It's not so famous amongst the other du colleges but it is good. The infrastructure is nice & the faculty is amazing. It's not so reputed but the teachers are really cooperative. The College offers a really big library & plethora of books to choose from. The dramatics society Navrangg is quite famous for its endeavours. The other departmental societies are also nice. At the end of the day your course choice should matter more than your college choice. Delhi University is a really precious University and if you are getting admission into your favourite course, then the choice of college shouldn't matter much.
