Lakshmibai College, Delhi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has an on-campus medical clinic. The medical clinic provides facilities like psychological counselling, first-aid treatment, etc. The medical clinic also provides trained medical officers to cater to the medical requirements of the students, college staff and faculty members.

The college provides a fully air-conditioned gym for all round development of the students. The gym helps improve physical stamina and gain tranquility of mind. Lakshmibai College gym facilities include treadmills, cross-trainer, cycling machines, twisters, strength machines to name a few. There is also a gym instructor to guide the students.

The library is well-stocked with general textbooks, reference books, periodicals, journals, dictionaries (both Hindi and English), yearbooks, encyclopedias, atlas. A small collection of Bengali and Punjabi books are also available. The library is fully computerised, connected with wi-fi and also provides e-resources like e-books, e-journals, online databases. For providing e-resources, the library has subscriptions of Delhi University Learning System (DULS), N-List programmes of INFLIBNET, DELNET, etc. There is a spacious air-conditioned reading hall, which remains open on all working days. The library also provides Braille books for the visually impaired students. The library uses OPAC (On-Line Public Access Catalogue) and Scanner Gun to automate the daily administrative work.

A number of indoor and outdoor games and yoga facilities are available within the campus. Lakshmibai College sports facilities include basketball court, cricket ground, baseball ground, softball ground, volleyball court, high jump and long jump pit, badminton ground, netball court, archery ground, kho-kho court, kabaddi court, handball court, a 200 metres track lane and others.  The college also provides coaching in archery, athletics, boxing, power-lifting, pistol shooting, rifle shooting, taekwondo, etc.

The college computer labs are equipped with desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, etc. The computers are enabled with the latest hardware and software and are connected with the high-speed internet.

Lakshmibai College Delhi has a spacious and well-furnished cafeteria, open for students, staff and visitors. Healthy and hygienic vegetarian food is served at reasonable prices. The menu of the cafeteria includes North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, light snacks, drinks, etc. A mother dairy booth is also there, where healthy refreshments are available.

Lakshmibai College auditorium facilities include sound and visual systems, LCD projectors, wi-fi, etc. The auditorium is very spacious and is used for multipurpose activities like organising events and seminars.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The entire campus is enabled with high-speed internet. Students and staff members can access the internet facility for free for academic related activities.

Lakshmibai College has departmental laboratories like Food Technology Lab, Apparel Design Lab, Media lab, Language Lab, etc. All the laboratories are well-lit and well-ventilated. In addition to the necessary equipment, Lakshmibai College laboratory facilities also include LG double door refrigerator, double gas burners, gas cylinders, etc.  The Language Lab is ICT enabled.

There is an extension counter of Bank of India in the college campus. All kinds of modern banking facilities are provided to the students and staff members. Seminars and other activities of the college are generally sponsored by the bank.

The college has a xerox centre, where photocopying and printing facilities are available. Spiral binding and project black book facility is also provided.
