It has all the necessary, infrastructure, facilities and equipment which is very much nice and good for the students. The facilities in our classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centers and hostels are really good
I am studying PGDM as I have to pursue a career in this particular field and this will make me job ready. The college has the curriculum updated and includes all the necessary recent developments in the college
The quality of the placements is really very nice as it fulfills the requirements of the students who want to get placed in the top companies. The highest salary offered is around 20 LPA which really great
When I started my PGDM in LIBA, we had classes in a seperate building, which consisted of AC classrooms, a library, a closed auditorium, an open air auditorium, seperate study room, open air game room, college owned canteen, trading lab and multiple computer labs. However, there is a new building coming up which will have more state of the art facilities and bigger classrooms and labs. Mostly the classes will be shifted there from 2021.
I completed my PGDM in Human Resources and Marketing. The courses are mainly completed with presentations and classroom discussions, in the first year. However, in the second year, more Guest lectures are included which add a lot of new perspective to the curriculum and industrial experiences. Apart from classroom courses, we did a lot of self study for better placement preparation. The quality of teaching is good, but the college can include more visiting faculties as well.
Placements were good, with a variety of companies coming for the process. Our year (2020) had a successful placement, and the highest salary offered was for the Operations course. The Placement committee was very supportive during the process and did their best to bring in more companies for us.
Our course fee for 2 years Full-time PGDM course was Rs. 12 Lakhs in total. The Hostel accommodation fees was seperate from this. In terms of value for money, it was worth it.
Our college has a huge campus full of greenery and lots of place for taking walks. We have a Church in the campus, multiple football fields where the students can engage in sports, a stationary shop and multiple canteens. The Girls and Boys Hostel were just at a couple of minutes from the college. The college is placed in the center of the city and the students can access everything very easily. The location was safe and could handle emergencies well.
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
There are two exams through which you can take admission in LIBA and the exams are CAT, XAT. You haven't mentioned in which exam you scored 77.27 percentile. I am assuming if you scored this in CAT then the chances are less that you get a call because the cut off generally goes around 80 percentile and if you scored this in XAT then there are some chances but I am not sure that you are gonna get a call from LIBA because XAT cut off usually goes 1-2 percentile below CAT.
Hope this helps.
Hello Dear,
Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) was established in 1979 offers admission in PGDM Programme (Full-Time and Part-Time), Executive Diploma Programme, Doctoral and Certificate programs. For full-time PDGM Admissions, candiates should have 60% marks in 10, 12 and graduate level on overall basis.

Good Luck
TAPMI may have a slightly higher reputation being a constituent of Manipal University, I believe Great Lakes has a huge locational advantage being located near IT, Corporate and Finance Hubs of Chennai and nearby Bengaluru will provide greater career scope and prospects to training and placements. Hence, you may consider Great Lakes over TAPMI and LIBA.
