Malnad College of Engineering admission to B.E courses are offered on the basis of  Karnataka Common Entrance Test (K-CET) conducted by the Government of Karnataka. MCE Hassan M.Tech admissions are offered on the basis of GATE scores.

Malnad College of Engineering B.E Admission Process - through KCET

• Eligible candidates must appear for KCET.

• KEA announces the KCET results in an online mode.

• Only students who meet the KCET cutoff are eligible to participate in KCET counselling.

• Candidates need to select Malnad College of Engineering as their preferred college.

• Once a seat has been allotted, candidates must visit campus for document verification.

• The final admission is offered based on students’ performance in the KCET, counselling, document verification, and payment of fees. 

Malnad College of Engineering B.E Admission Process - through COMEDK

• Eligible candidates must apply and appear for Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK-UGET).

• Students must meet the COMEDK- UGET cutoff. 

• Candidates must participate in a centralised counselling process for choice filling and seat allocation following the announcement of the results and rank list.

• Give preference to Malnad College of Engineering for admission during choice locking and filling.

• During the counselling procedure, seats are offered to candidates based on their entrance score, choices made, document verification, and fee payment.

• Once a seat has been offered, complete the Malnad College of Engineering admission process by verifying the documents and paying the desired course fee. 

Malnad College of Engineering offers admission to 14 PG programmes in different streams. Some of the PG programmes are M.Tech Computer Aided Design of Structures, M.Tech Industrial Automation and Robotics, M.Sc Engineering by Research Industrial Production and Engineering, M.Sc Engineering by Research Mathematics, etc. The duration of the PG courses is 2 years.
