Malnad College of Engineering has a boys hostel. The hostel is well-equipped, with a modern kitchen and a large dining hall that can accommodate roughly 260 students for lunch or dinner at any given time. The three blocks, Hoysala, Hemavathi, and Hasanamba, house about 600 to 650 students in 324 rooms. There is an internet browsing centre on the hostel campus.

On the site of the college, there is a girls hostel. Around 250 students are accommodated in a four-story structure. The students are provided with all necessary accommodation amenities. In the hostel premises, students have access to Wi-Fi. Additionally, students have access to a bus service that transports them from their hostel to their college.

The college provides medical services to the students and faculty, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

MCE has a very large number of Alumni who are considered as its assets. Many alumni have scaled heights in their areas of specialization and the institution is proud of them.The Alumni Association was started in the year 1967. The main objective was to promote a fellow feeling amongst the alumni by arranging alumni meets on the campus. There are Chapters of this association in various cities. Many alumni visit the Alma mater and help the institution in whatever way possibleThe Association has a well furnished Seminar Hall of its own in the campus.
