Academics
Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was also appreciated. The course curriculum was also relevant and it also made students industry-ready. Semester exams were moderate not though at all, and pass percentage was 48%.
College Infra
Very good infrastructure was given in our department like Wi-Fi but with limited access. Classrooms were clean and well with in-built projectors. There was a very huge library and even there were good facilities in the hostel too. Many messes and canteens were available with sports facilities.
Placements
There was good percentage of students in our course. Even 11 LPA was the highest package, and 4 LPA was the lowest package with big companies like IRTE for recruitment. 100% of students got internships from our college and high posts were offered in our course.

College Infra
Our course boasts average classrooms, advanced labs, and high-speed internet that foster innovation and practical learning. Library is rich in resources and hostels provide well-furnished rooms, 24/7 security, and recreational space that ensure a comfortable stay.
Placements
Our batch (2022-2026) comprises 40 students pursuing a Btech in Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on news reporting and editing. We achieved a 50% placement rate, secured internships at top firms and actively participated in research, hackathons, and innovation projects.

Academics
Teachers at university are qualified. Some are ex-NIT teachers, and some are pursuing their Ph.D. on the campus and teaching here. Teachers are cooperative, however be aware of mechanics, engineering drawing, physics, and mathematics 1, 2 in which most students fail. Exam is asked from the given syllabus, no out of syllabus questions are asked.
College Infra
Wi-Fi facility is given in hostels but they get logout every time and irritate you. There is a reading room with AC present in each hostel which is well built. Overall, accommodation in hostels is not satisfying. The building is not under any supervision. Mess food is not worth the fee charged.
Placements
According to the recent newsletter published, it was reported that overall more than 550 students were placed and over 40 students locked a package of 6.5 LPA which was given by Amdocs. However, this year was quite decent according to placement last year due to the market being down very less number of companies came to campus.

Ganesh, you haven't mentioned your Category. This is important because each Category has diiferent cut off for different streams. For example in 2019 Mock Counselling for KCET, a rank of 54495 secured a seat in Mechanical Branch in Malnad College under 1G Category. And a rank of 10334 under General Merit secured a seat in Electronics branch. So please do help us with your Category. Dear applicant as per the information provided by AICTE, Malnad College has got some issues regarding admission this year. VVCE Mysore is indeed a good college with plenty good faculties, nice infrastructure, well equipped labs, the academic environment is also really comfortable and Placements offered by the companies can offer you starting package of 3-4 LPA.
