Offers decent infrastructure with well-equipped labs and classrooms. Space in campus is limited no hostel facility and canteen food is acceptable. Spacious classrooms and less practical and hands on experience on projects.
Good faculty and teaching staff. The curriculum includes project’s assignments mini projects which are accredited with university of mumbai. The skills on which college focuses is average in accordance to making us job ready.
Placement fall to in average category. Computer engineering and information technology branches perform better than core Limited opportunities, moderate packages and scope for improvement in company exposure. College is supportive
College is value for money increasing the chances of getting Higher return on investment for students. College has apparently adequate facilities according to fees taken. Good for budget conscious students.
Campus life is decent with active student, clubs and events, but limited campus space and no hostel reduce overall social life depends on groups and you’ll spend most of the time in the canteen and floor refuge area.
Our college have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities like washroom, labs, and a ground. Our campus have wifi and they are well maintained too. The living space is cleaned and food in the canteen is hygienic too
I would consider the academics well structured and yes ,the quality of teaching is also good. Few teachers language is tough to understand because of accent but others are superb in explaining concept.
Yes placements are held well according to some people and some people said that placements are very difficult . Highest package which was offered was i guess 20lpa last year and college is also somewhat supportive.
At Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Tech, it's not just about hitting the books – it's a whole experience! Picture this: classrooms that aren't snooze-fests but lively spaces where learning's actually fun. They've got the cool gear to make it happen, making every lecture a bit of an adventure. And labs? They're not the boring kind; they're like mini wonderlands where you get your hands dirty and really get what you're studying.
Alright, let's talk academics at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Tech – it's like the brainiac HQ, but in a cool way. The classes aren't your typical snoozefests; they're like knowledge-packed parties. Profs here aren't just teachers; they're the guides to the academic adventure. And labs? They're not those boring places where you daydream about escape routes. Nah, these labs are where the real action happens. It's like science meets a mini rollercoaster – hands-on and a bit wild.
When it comes to placements at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Tech, it's kind of like the middle child – not grabbing the spotlight, but holding its own. The job scene is there, but it's not breaking the internet. You know, you won't find Fortune 500 companies camping outside, but you won't be sending out resumes into a black hole either. The placement game is steady. Some land dream gigs, some hustle a bit for the right fit. It's not a job bonanza, but it's not a job apocalypse either.
When it comes to value for money, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Tech has a mixed bag of offerings. Tuition fees won't break the bank, but it's not exactly a budget-friendly haven either. You're not swimming in student debt, but you might need to count your pennies. On the bright side, the facilities on campus do add some bang for your buck. Decent classrooms, labs that don't make you feel like you're in a time machine, and a library that's more than just a room with books – it's a plus.
Ah, the campus life at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Tech is like a rollercoaster – some thrilling highs, a few mundane loops, but an adventure overall. The good stuff? The campus is a melting pot of personalities. From tech geeks to sports enthusiasts, you'll find your tribe. The cultural fests and events inject life into the routine, making sure boredom takes a back seat. And hey, the green spaces? Perfect for those "I need a break" moments. But, let's not sugarcoat it.
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, with its mix of highs and lows, paints a picture of an institution that's navigating the educational landscape with a blend of pragmatism and potential. Academically, it's a lively hub where learning is more of an adventure than a chore. The classrooms and labs are the stages where students engage in dynamic exploration, and the library serves as a haven for knowledge seekers.
No AC in labs, no seating area in Canteen, painting of building is half done. It’s suffocating during summers as no ventilation is there in the building. One must seriously consider maintaining the building
Some teachers are great! Others are a little dependent on how you dress up in college and seem judgemental. Female teachers never are in favour of girls, marks are given based on attendance, and not on skills
Not so sure about placements, because mostly people apply for GRE and GMAT and do not opt for placements via college. Although, according to our teachers around 80 students get placed out of 120, so seems great ig
Okayish. There are many who pay less fee under caste reservations, but i am sure that people who pay around 1.5 lakhs per year are paying for nothing! The building maintenance is not done, no ac in lab etc
Okayish. There is no campus for campus life ? there’s a lawn type thing in the center of the building but we aren’t allowed to sit there during lectures hours. We can’t write assignments in library.
No
While the college has washrooms for both boys and girls on every floor, the college lacks to have a hostel for students. Laboratories are present on each floor though they are usually very small holding a maximum capacity of 20 students.
I'm studying computer engg. while the syllabus comes from Mumbai University, it still isn't that advanced and recent developments in fields are usually ignored and mainly core subjects are taught. For jobs one should learn it outside of college.
The quality of placements in the college is quite okay and the average salary offered this year was 6 lpa. The highest package is usually bagged by computer department students. The placement process is usually quite simple.
The cost of course was around 1.25 lakh. As mentioned before, mainly core subjects are taught. Though they strengthen the foundation of students, the students still need latest technical knowledge on various subjects.
While the college campus is small, many activities are conducted in the college lawn as well as the college ground. The location of the college is safe. Different activities like cultural fests, marathons, sports and technical events are conducted in the college.
Some teachers are really really helpful and can be great mentors for you.
The college is Little poor for infrastructure as up to date equipments are not there..... maintenance is very poor ...they should improve there maintenance and canteen is good but they should decrease there price and add more items in there menu
Sometimes it feels we came only for attendance ...but the teachers are genuinely helping and caring and they are very good and supportive some non teaching staff are little annoying but overall faculty supports students for growing
College is performing good in placements from previously....but computer science branch takes the whole placement as major recruiting companies that come are for CS branch then IT and now AIDS is introduced now
Fees is 1.2lakh for the course...it's not totally worth frankly speaking....but u can seek very good knowledge as teachers are experienced quite ....but the crowd is not so engaged in studies so u have to be serious...core subjects are being ignored so that's a con
You will get beautiful memories as this clg is situated beside Versova beach...after college u can hangout there and have a chill ... college is small for campus ..so the campus life is not there u have to go out with your friends to chill and have fun
This college, you got an excellent Infrastructure as per my review. In college, you get a small lawn area for playing outside sports. On both sides lawn, you can enter the main college area. for eating you can get a colossal cafeteria. In college, buildings have a total of six floors, and all six floors are divided into each depart. In college, classrooms are also excellent. and also college laboratories well prepared for use. Know overall view of college Infrastructure is good.
In the case of teaching experience of teachers are good. all teachers easily explain the concept. but some teachers have good I'm teaching all subjects very well from foundation to a higher level. It is also tech the subject for your job or oral point.
As for my knowledge, I am spending two years in college, In the college on-campus placement is good or average. many services based or some MNCs have come to hire. And the average salary of all depart students is 5 to 6 LPA.so overall colleges have a suitable placement.
Know for all department course costs are similar to all colleges (1.3L per year).
If you are talking about the college campus, you will never miss any event or compaction, participation, or any recordable event. And In the event students and all teaching or non-teaching staff will participate and enjoy the festival or many events organized by students.
As for my roles if your home is near some 1hr of a distance you can take an admission
My college name is rajiv gandhi institute of technology. In my college so many facilities are available and in laboratories there was so many operator are available for Experiment and in librarie all books are available.
Currently i am staying engineering in branch of electronic and telecommunications. I choose this branch because i like to do something with wires and made electronic gadgets and this branch developed my skills.
This is my 1st year in this college so i don't have more ideas about placement but my senior told me that the placement of this college is very good and many companies are comes to get interviews and so many students get jobs
I am for SC category so the cost of my course is vary low and perfect for me .
Our college campus is so good it is small but we do many things in our college campus
No
Yes my college has all necessary equipment and facilities .Modern learning process is not yet on point .Talking about the maintenance of college everything is well maintained .And the living spaces are clean and even food is hygienic
I'm studying computer science and currently I'm in second year of my graduation .The technology going on in our daily life is has evoked a kind of interest to learn something through which the hardwork may decrease and smart work may increase
Talking about the placement in my college is average but almost 60 percent of students are been placed in companies and highest package salary is of computer science and it students .The avg salary is 3-5 lakh rupees
Value for money in our college is good just because of the faculty present in our college which helps us in all possible ways
We don't have a huge campus but what ever we have is good
No
College Infrastructure is good. Many people don't know about this college as because of less Marketing. As if in college rating our colg stands on 8 position on best colleges in Mumbai. Facilities are good
Quality of teaching is good not best . Accordingly saying about curriculum it is not that updated bcoz in practical life in companies they use latest technologies and in college curriculum it does not make us job ready
Placements are good as companies like TCS , Infosys , and many more.. Salary package offered is in between 3.5 lakh - 7 lakh . Highest salary package was 8 lakh offered was placed in Axis Bank as Backend Developer
My course per year is approximately Rs.13,000. I do feel I m getting money's worth
Campus is not that huge but its scenic. As colg is located near Versova beach it's worth feature anyone can have. Specially teachers and others staff are also very supportive
Dear aspirant,
I would recommend you to take up computer science and engineering because electronics and telecommunication should be opted only if you have interest in electronics otherwise not.
Ece branch is really a tough one to deal it rather than computer science. You can take cse in a bit
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
Almost 85% of students from the computer science branch from this college get placed during the placement cell.
The highest package offered to a student in the recent batch was around 8-9’lakhs per annum & on average students from computer science branch get
