College Infrastructure
Yes my college has all necessary equipment and facilities .Modern learning process is not yet on point .Talking about the maintenance of college everything is well maintained .And the living spaces are clean and even food is hygienic
Academics
I'm studying computer science and currently I'm in second year of my graduation .The technology going on in our daily life is has evoked a kind of interest to learn something through which the hardwork may decrease and smart work may increase
Placements
Talking about the placement in my college is average but almost 60 percent of students are been placed in companies and highest package salary is of computer science and it students .The avg salary is 3-5 lakh rupees
Value-for-money
Value for money in our college is good just because of the faculty present in our college which helps us in all possible ways
Campus Life
We don't have a huge campus but what ever we have is good
Anything Else
No

College Infrastructure
College Infrastructure is good. Many people don't know about this college as because of less Marketing. As if in college rating our colg stands on 8 position on best colleges in Mumbai. Facilities are good
Academics
Quality of teaching is good not best . Accordingly saying about curriculum it is not that updated bcoz in practical life in companies they use latest technologies and in college curriculum it does not make us job ready
Placements
Placements are good as companies like TCS , Infosys , and many more.. Salary package offered is in between 3.5 lakh - 7 lakh . Highest salary package was 8 lakh offered was placed in Axis Bank as Backend Developer
Value-for-money
My course per year is approximately Rs.13,000. I do feel I m getting money's worth
Campus Life
Campus is not that huge but its scenic. As colg is located near Versova beach it's worth feature anyone can have. Specially teachers and others staff are also very supportive

College Infrastructure
Positive- good extra curricular, high society people, average learing, good for scoring marks. The canteen is not upto mark and also the computers in comps dept are old fashioned. It though meets up the students expectations.
Academics
Mumbai University cirriculum is followed. The course consist of 8 semesters.odd sem and even sem. Odd sem starts from august to december and even sem from jan to june and exams takes place at december and june. For getting pass marks for this exam it is 45 out of 100. Teachers teach quite good.
Placements
Highest package was 8 lakh for comps last year.Well known companies like Infosys, tcs, wipro, sib, byjus app, Microsoft, agile manufacturers... Visits our college yearly and place much students in to it. Our alumni also play an important role in bringing various companies to our college. The college doesnt offer any internship as such.
Value-for-money
Fee structure is based on the cap round entrance and donations. The normal fees is 99k for open category. Its 50k for obc and around 13 k for sbc students. For sc/st its even less. If you want admission through donation process then they charge upto 2-3 lakhs.
Campus Life
Students are engaged in sports too.Zodiac & icrus Zodiac was non technical eventsnin which is 3 day.DAY 1- student dance and competition and fashion show. Day 2- band performance or singer performance Day 3 - DJ NIGHT Icarus is core technical and it is also 3 day fest but day wise timeline is not fixed.

College Infrastructure
Mumbai after vjti and spit if any other good college for doing engineering is there then its RGIT and DJ Sanghvi. I got admission in RGIT that too in the computer department. That why I chose this college. Many of my friends travel from palghar Kalyan to come to this college. Labs are well maintained.
Academics
The courses offered in the college are up to date as per the Mumbai university syllabus and it helps a lot to develop the skills required to get into the world. All the new technology are included under the course and you get options to select which subject you want to learn. 2 sems each years of 80 mks paper is conducted.
Placements
There are on an average 35-40 companies comes in our college campus interview some of them are mentioned below :- Bajaj auto, Package - 3.25 lakh, tech Mahindra Package 3.2 lakh, Infosys Package - 3.2lakh, L&T Package- 4 lakh, Godrej & ponds Package - 3.5 lakh. Students with good skills are hired more.
Value-for-money
The fees structure for the college is average as compared for the engineering. For the oper category it starts from about 99k per year and till 4th year it goes up to 1.06 lakh. The fees for the cast are starts from 5k per year to max of 45k per year.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. There is an equal number of boys and girls. Labs and other facility provided are average. They are not that high quality but they are sufficient to do the work. There are various sports teams in the college including football cricket volleyball.

College Infrastructure
This college has various good reviews about it also it ranks 7th in the list of all engineering college across Mumbai This college has very good infrastructure also the college has well-educated staff provided with a proper canteen in college itself. Also, alumni are well managed. Labs are good. Sometimes net is not available.
Academics
The Mumbai University sets the Course Curriculum, and they renew the syllabus after every 4 years. Being in the comps branch, the syllabus needs to updated to the industrial standards, which it fails to do. We study 4-5 years old technology now. There are 2 unit tests every semester and a final end sem exam after that.
Placements
The internship has been done in reliance on thermal power plant without stipend. Marketing company like Byjus, Zycus are coming in the campus. Avg salary is around INR 3.2 LPA-4 lpa. Yes. Well known companies like Infosys, tcs, wipro, sib, byjus app, agile manufacturers... Visits our college yearly and place much students in to it. Our alumni also play an important role in bringing various companies to our college.
Value-for-money
It is average when compared to all the engineering colleges in Mumbai. Yearly fees are around 1L. It is feasible for many, but because of Freeships and Scholarships by Government of Maharashtra, people get tuition fee waiver making the course feasible for all.
Campus Life
The cultural fest conducted yearly helps to develop the extra curricular activities among students. Sports like cricket, football, volley ball, badminton are played by students with proper guidance from the coach.

College Infrastructure
Good staff, ample of opportunities, 75% attendance implies you to attend compulsorily, industrial training (incase of instrumentation branch), seminars, only one class of 60 students. Negatives - Placement scenario needs immediate attention for improvement. Canteen has poor seating arrangements, food is average.
Academics
The course curriculum is well designed by the experienced faculties teaching comps Engineering under Mumbai University. Recently, their has been changes in the curriculum so as to meet industrial needs. There are 2 unit tests of 20 marks each carried out, one is after 30-40% syllabus gets covered, the next is during term end. Final semester exams of 80 marks take place after practical and oral exams.
Placements
Almost 75% of the students were placed. The highest international salary offered was Rs. 3 Lacs per month. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Amazon, etc. Computer engineers are the top roles offered. About 30% of the students got internships in our college.
Value-for-money
Fees are expensive (Around 100,000 - 110,000). This is for open category students. For reserved category students, fees are deduced to almost half of the normal fees 50,000 - 60,000 for OBC, 10,000 - 20,000 for SC,ST). You have to confirm the fees structure with college.
Campus Life
My branch offers industrial training to students of each year (SE, TE, BE) at SIEMENS. They recently started to give training at college itself. I don't know much about it. You have to be in good books of the staff so that they could inform you about any competitions, projects, internships and jobs. Events like zodiac and icarus are held in month of march.
Anything Else
Having a good time.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the college is just okay........ It can be improved a lot.........The library and most of the labs have been maintained.......the sports ground is about a minute away from the college
Academics
Like any other mu college you may find some good and bad teachers.....different people may have different opinions about the professor....acc to me most of the staff is quite good and also friendly with the students
Placements
To be frank...... Campus placements are just okay.....every field in engineering is currently oversaturated ........ So finding a decent and a good job might take some time......you have to do some extra certification courses to get a good job

College Infrastructure
There is almost nothing bad remarks as per college. College is strict as well. Also, the proper security guard is there for Id check-in in college In the college, a faculty is helpful for students to their problem. Labs are well maitained. Proper facilities are provided.
Academics
Course curriculum is followed by Mumbai University pattern which very outdated, it needs to updated according to new technologies and requirements in market. Exam structure is semester based CBGS (credit based grading system). There are two internal assessment examination (20 marks each) every semester, average of which is added in final result. At end of the semester there is end sem examination of 80 marks. Teachers teach well
Placements

Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Amazon, etc. Computer engineers are the top roles offered. About 30% of the students got internships in our college.
Value-for-money
Fee structure varies every year slightly but it is decided by Fee Structure Commitee of Mumbai University. In my case it is approximately 99,000 per year. It's feasible, as Maharashtra government provides good amount of scholarship ship for reserver categories, but it may be expensive for students belonging to other states.
Campus Life
Various events are conducted throughout the year. All events are managed by alumni students and also conducted under the surveillance of faculty staff. Two types of major events happen those are mainly Technical and cultural festival. Technical events are most helpful for students technical Knowledge and improve their skills and knowledge. Culture festivals are for the enjoyment of students.

The course curriculum has to be selected before taking an admission to the college. There are various courses offered by college such as Mechanical, comps, information tech, etc, instrumentation etc. Also, the college provides master facility other than bachelor facility.Exam structure is same as per Mumbai University. There are 2 internal assessment test taken Each paper of internal assessment is marks of 20 marks each subject. Also, there are orals which are conducted before university papers.
Placements
Mostly technical fields have the highest placement records. This year, almost 90% of the students who appeared for placements got placed.TCS and Infosys are the top recruiting companies that visited to our college. The avg. Salary offer is 3.5L per annum. College Infrastructure
Our college is one of the best engineering college in Mumbai, but quality of education is not upto the level upto which it should be infact all private engineering colleges in India have same condition. Infrastructure is well developed.
Placements
Placements and job opportunities in our college is not so good as in our campus only IT companies visited this year so it becomes very tough for students of other branches because IT companies always gives preferences to Comps/IT students directly or indirectly.TCS and Infosys are the top recruiting companies that visited to our college. The avg. Salary offer is 3.5L per annum. And the highest salary would be 5L per annum. Almost 20-25% of students were attended the interview.

Campus Life
There are various technical committees like RGIT-IEEE, IETE students forum, MESSA, CESS, ABIT, ASME, aeroRGIT etc which provides opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities like various seminar, workshop, career guidance, project competition etc. Labs are not very well equipped in our department also in other departments also. There are college Football and Cricket teams which participate in various inter college matches. There is various sports events

College Infrastructure
The college does have all the basic amenities, which is satisfying the infrastructure is good ,however no campus. The college does have a well maintained library with over 2000 books , journals and papers.
Academics
As of the teaching most of the teachers are excellent in their respective domains , the curriculum is slightly outdated and needs further enhancement for further employability and further placements .
Placements
The placements are average , we do have presence of recruiter's like TCS,jio, and many more like them , the training and placement cell provides a good exposure to all these recruitments and provides internship as well
Value-for-money
About a lakh
Campus Life
The campus life is awesome , the student council and the various departments are always engaged in organizing workshop, seminar , internship drives , councilling , sports and other co curricular activities

Sports happen only during the cultural fest. The rest of the days there is no encouragement from the college. Zodiac: The college's biggest cultural festival. It happens every year at the end of March. It lasts for 2-3 days with various events like dancing, singing, concerts, marathon, competitive events, etc. 2) ICARUS: Its a technical fest of our college. This happens just before the Zodiac. Various tech contests and exhibitions takes place. The main attraction here is RoboWars.

College Infrastructure
All basic facilities are available in college. College infrastructure is overall good. Spacious classrooms with projectors wherever necessary, labs, xerox & stationary centre ,Wi-Fi in library is also available. Canteen provides good food.
Academics
I'm currently pursuing 2nd year of Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi College. Teaching quality is good. Teachers are having good experience. Industry visits , Internships are provided by college for practical understanding.
Placements
Quality of placement is average. IT companies like Infosys came during campus placement. IT and Comps students are getting placed well as compared to other departments. Placement Cell is there in the college which provides information about Job apportunities , internships to all students.
Value-for-money
The cost of course is around Rs.96,500 per year for open category students. This cost differs according to the categories. Also different scholarships are also available. Cost is quite high for open category students but one can apply for TFWS scheme also.
Campus Life
College don't have a big campus which one must have thought of. The campus is so small. During the annual fest different contests, games happens in the campus only. Location is good. Versova beach is so nearby to college. Also Versova meuro station, Juhu Beach and Infinity mall is also nearby.
Anything Else
Overall my 2 years experience is good. Teachers are helpful too. They used to clear my doubts. So many extra curricular activities happens in college almost on daily basis. Most importantly no ragging is there in college. All seniors are also so supportive.

College Infrastructure
Our college is well maintained but sometimes there is no proper water supply in washrooms. Its is near the versova beach so we have ample of fresh air and the environment is good. The canteen is good. There is no wifi in college.
Academics
I am in 3rd year EXTC Dept. The teachers are friendly and help everyone. Sometimes ques.banks are given for ut exams. The college do help us in developing our personality in every way. A lot of projects are been given to 2nd and 3rd year students.
Placements
The placements are not that good. The average placement last year was 3.5 lakh. The maximum package was bagged by 3 computer engg students which was 8-8.5 lakh per annum. The placement cell supports the students.
Value-for-money
The fees is 99k for any course each year. While its is 13-15k for sbc students. 50k for obc students. The money is worth according to the facilities provided by the college.
Campus Life
We have a lot of committees and students from all dept are a part of all committees. Its fun to be in. We get to learn many new things and even seniors are supportive. There is no such thing as ragging over here.

College Infrastructure
Our college is pretty good in infrastructure. Though there are many lack of facilities suck as air conditioning in labs is not properly maintained. Classrooms are wide with cool breeze in winters. Library is the best place for smart kids. You can have a great time there without anyone disturbing you.
Academics
Course curriculum is pretty good regarding comp. engineering. Exam structure is usually divided into 8 semesters in which in each semester you will need to study and take care orelse you would end up with a KT instead. Teaching is too good and upto mark.
Placements
Placement Wing 6/10 Placement and jobs are decent which is common in all colleges. Yes our college provide internship opportunities in some of the renowned companies and they also help us to build our profile and help us in our future career. This year the highest pakage was 8.5 lakh of Comps dept.
Value-for-money
Fee Structure And Facilities Fee structure is less for caste students as it is the case in all other colleges. It's not too expensive but not until the Mark. Its 99k per year for bachelors in any field.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities such as sports, workshops, profile build up, Ted talks, technical workshops, language classes, gate classes, entrance exam classes and also some of the best musical and movies making tutorials are held under proffesional guidance. A lot of committees are formed which are fun to get involved with.
Anything Else
There are many positive and also negative marks. Speaking of positive marks. College have good faculty and decent placement and also has some good classes. Negative point is that it don't have good facilities like filtered water at all times.

The infrastructure is good. The faculty is very good and supportive. You can feel free to go to them at any time if you are stuck somewhere. About 20% of teachers hold a Ph.D. and some are pursuing. You'll have ample opportunities for co-curricular and extracurriculars too. There is no hostel facility available but you can contact the admin. Office and they'll help you. The canteen is the best part, though ;) All in all. A modest place to be in.

Manjara Charitable Trust's Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RGIT) is located near 7 bungalows, Versova. The nearest railway station is Andheri. RGIT's glass building which looks stunning at the first glance has a balcony/small terrace on every floor. Faculty at RGIT, in general, is nice. The Boys to girls ratio is the same like any other engineering college. Students from the Western and Northern suburbs and South Mumbai are mostly seen in this college. Owing to it RGITs upmarket location, the college has some fantastic hangouts.Versova beach and 'Versova rocks' followed by Yari road are all very close to the college.

According to me, the college looks good from the outside but to beware all this is from the outside. Professors are rude, unruly and try to make students feel less and beneath themselves. The infrastructure is poor, canteen is small and cannot cope with the demand of students.

Good college with great infrastructure has a good name in sports as well, but you have to pay the expenses of sports yourself (travel, etc). As any other college, some teachers are good and some are okay. Can't say anything about placements as I am yet to complete my course.

The crowd is great, the faculty is average, college timing is good, location is average, teachers are helpful but are strict, the canteen is average. The main problem is people hardly know about this college, library is good, workshops and rest of the committee is good, life is pretty much ok in this college

The college is located in Andheri (W) and affiliated to University of Mumbai. My overall experience was great. Good quality of crowd, good infrastructure and great location. Faculty is easy going, not going harsh over deadlines and all. Need to study on your own mostly as most faculty is young and bit inexperienced. Lots of activities like college fests. Good placement companies, mostly IT. Has more departments than usual like mechanical, MCA etc.

Sea facing college balconies, Vibrant festival culture, Above average faculty, Location of college (PVR , Lokhandwala market, Juhu Beach, Irla market are all close by and this is excluding many other awesome restaurants nearby). Infrastructure of the college is pretty good too. The building's architecture is world class. Placements here are decent.

To start with, one thing comes first, you will not find any other college with the better location then this.college is located near beach.canteen is really awesome, food is ok but to sit there with chilling breeze with friends is different thing.faculty is really strict, and one thing here in this college faculty is not partial, they will not hesitate to give in internal kt if your performance is not good.also there is no ground for college and hostel facility is also not present.

"Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology, Mumbai is located at versova, Andheri. The college offers five streams to choose from, mechanical, Instrumentation, EXTC, IT and comps. The college faculty does not live up to its expectations. Overall, its a decent college but definitely not one to opt for in the first round."
