Wi-Fi is provided in the academic blocks, and the labs are well-furnished with latest systems and software for coding and project purposes. Classrooms are clean and properly maintained with smart boards and projectors. The library is a good one with adequate technical and reference books.
The teachers are knowledgeable and experienced. They are largely cooperative and helpful, particularly in resolving doubts and assisting in guiding students while working on projects. The quality of teaching is good, and the curriculum of the courses is as per the requirements of the present industry
About 80–90% of students from our batch got placement offers. The maximum package offered rose up to about 12 LPA, while the average falls between 4–5 LPA. The minimum package is about 2.8 LPA. Some of the companies that come to visit are Can Technologies, Softel Systems, SkyNet IT Services, and Infocrest Solutions. I personally got selected in Can Technologies as a Web Developer, which was a wonderful chance to start my career.
The infrastructure of MBA department is also well-established with separate lecture halls, AC seminar rooms, and computer laboratories. The campus is not large but is well-groomed with sports grounds for basketball, badminton, and other sports, and also with a state-of-the-art auditorium that is utilized for seminars and management activities. There is also a Wi-Fi-enabled ambiance, and the library contains a good collection of business books, journals, and online resources.
The faculty members are skilled, collaborative, and predominately possess either MBA or Ph.D. degrees in their specific fields. They pay attention to theoretical concepts as well as promote practical exposure through case studies, presentations, and industry interactions. The curriculum is in sync with the requirements of the market, particularly in marketing, finance, operations, and HR. All subjects, including business communication, economics, and strategic management, are very helpful in placements.
MIET Meerut has great placement framework for MBA students. Various well-known companies hire students through campus recruitment drives. Although the highest package can fluctuate from year to year, opportunities in positions such as business analyst, HR associate, marketing executive, and financial analyst exist. On average, students get packages of 4–6 LPA, and students with good communication skills and domain knowledge tend to get better offers.
The campus is well-planned and well-maintained. The library is central, spacious, and well-furnished with good seating arrangement and a quiet environment for study. The Wi-Fi is stable in the academic blocks and libraries, although speed is occasionally reduced during high usage.
Semester exams are not that challenging, and most students easily pass, even college teachers helps students on WhatsApp in the class groups, most of the time teachers held many extracurricular activities which helps the students to enhance extra skills.
Many companies come during placement time, providing students with a good chance of getting placed. The minimum package they provide is about 2 LPA, whereas the maximum can be 20 LPA based on personal skill and preparation. The majority of the students who are regular in academics as well as technical skills are able to obtain good offers.
The Campus here reflects a well-balanced academic environment. Filtered drinking water and well-distributed medical facilities further support a student-friendly ecosystem. Sports facilities exists but are not very actively used by MBA students.
The Faculty pool is a mix of experienced professionals and academic mentors. A majority are approachable and open to doubt-solving and career discussions. The curriculum is structured around modern business needs, through real-world exposure.
While MIET has made a name for itself in certain technical domains, The MBA placement ecosystem still has room to grow. There isn't a standalone, dynamic placement cell exclusively focused on management students.
The MIET Meerut infrastructure is fairly good overall. Every department has its respective block, and the campus is well-planned. Amenities such as Wi-Fi buildings, smart classrooms, computer laboratories with all the facilities, and a well-stocked library are provided to the students. The hostel also offers satisfactory services,Wi-Fi connectivity, cleanliness in rooms, and a canteen with average quality food.
The teaching staff in the MBA department are highly qualified, experienced, and helpful. The majority of the professors have good academic backgrounds and provide nice industry inputs. They are interactive in their teaching style and tend to keep pace with modern business trends.
MIET Meerut has been relatively good in placements for the MBA course for the recent years. Most of the students of my batch have been placed. The highest package given was of about 7 LPA, while the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average salary package was of about 4 LPA. For our course, NextGen Innovators, Sales Mantra, and BizGurukul took part in the recruitment process.
The infrastructure for the pharmacy department is adequate but not spectacular. There are labs, but practical exposure is lacking in most cases. Certain necessary lab sessions such as DBMS and others are completely avoided or done theoretically.
Teaching faculty is highly variable. Some of the instructors are well-versed in the subjects and actually attempt to clarify things in a clear manner, but most others appear ill-prepared or disinterested in teaching. In some cases, students attend classes merely for attendance's sake, with no meaningful academic discussion.
Placement chances for B.Pharma students in MIET Meerut are extremely low. The placement percentage is mediocre at best, and most students apply off-campus to secure better jobs. Placements on campus are provided by local pharma marketing firms or small distributors, with salary packages ranging from 2 to 3 LPA.
MIET has all the general infrastructure required by MCA students. The laboratories are operational with updated systems, and the library has a sufficient number of academic and reference books. But the infrastructure is not ultra-modern classrooms have conventional seating without air conditioners or projectors in all rooms. The campus is fairly well-equipped with a reasonable canteen and a fairly comfortable hostel with reasonable facilities, though some improvement in the maintenance and cleanliness would be appreciated.
Exams are based on the university syllabus and are moderately difficult, but manageable with consistent study.Staff at MIET are helpful, highly qualified, and experienced in their areas. They teach in an understandable and methodical manner and assist us for project work and technical certifications as well.
I am placed at R1 RCM as Analyst but i placed off-campus,But from the campus the median package available is between 4.5–5.5 LPA, with the highest package during this year being approximately 15 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies that have visited for campus placements include Nexon Tiles, Stealmax, Ciment-Somany Ceramics, Cognizant, and IRB Infrastructure. While main IT companies are less in number, students are still able to receive good opportunities if they work hard.
The digital infrastructure of the department is up-to-date and tech-oriented. Classrooms are well-maintained, and facilities such as wi-fi, air-conditioning and functional fans ensure a smooth learning environment.
The Faculty are well-versed in their subjects and maintain a student-centric approach to teaching. They are not only academically sound, but they also guide students toward building industry-relevant skills.
Placements at MIET College for the MCA program are remarkably consistent. Companies like Infotech pvt.Ltd, softonic and other mid-sized tech firms actively recruit from the campus. Positions such as Data Analyst, Software Tester and support Engineer are quite common.
The college infrastructure is decent overall. Classrooms are spacious and ventilated. Labs are well-maintained and prepared for practical classes. The library is quiet and contains a vast collection of management study useful books. The hostel facilities, however, are subpar.
The curriculum of the course is industry-specific and aids in developing practical skills. The teachers prepare us for interviews and presentations. Semester exams are a bit tougher in nature since the pattern of papers keeps changing
Around 70% of the students in my batch were placed at companies such as Mahindra, Asian Paints, HP, and so on. The maximum package offered was approximately 24 LPA, and the minimum was 2 LPA. Around 60% of the students were also provided with internships by the college.
The infrastructure of MIET is superior. Classrooms are clean and well-kept, and labs are modernized, particularly for computer courses. The campus has nice sports facilities such as badminton, volleyball, basketball, football, and a reasonable cricket ground. Wi-Fi connectivity is present, but the speed varies in certain places. The hostel is comfortable, but the mess food is average, nothing extraordinary.
The majority of the faculty is good and qualified, with many of them holding postgraduate or PhD qualifications. Teaching styles are conventional, with the use of green boards and projectors, but the clarity of concepts varies according to the instructor. The curriculum of the courses adheres to university standards, and although all the necessary subjects are taught, it is not industry-oriented to a great extent.
placements at MIET Meerut for MCA students are average. There were only 60% students from our batch who got placements through campus recruitments. the average package varies between 3–4 LPA In the past, companies like Innover, Impetus, and Appinventiv have visited, but nearly all the offers were for testing or support profile, not development core. Mass recruiters are not many, and best companies such as Google or Microsoft don't come for MCA placements.
When choosing between MIET (Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology), Meerut, and KIT (Kanpur Institute of Technology), Kanpur, for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), several factors should be considered to determine which college might be the better fit for you.
Both colleges have their strengths, but if you're looking for a more established name with a solid track record in placements, MIET, Meerut, might be a better choice. However, KIT, Kanpur, is also a strong contender, especially if you're looking for an institution that is growing rapidly and placing an increasing emphasis on industry connections and practical learning.
Your decision might also depend on other factors like location preference, campus environment, and personal priorities. Visiting both campuses and speaking with current students or alumni could further help in making an informed choice.
hope this helps you!!

Hello,
A private university with more tuition and funding would undoubtedly have greater amenities, as would SRM Chennai.
The state government's engineering university, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), offers government seats that are filled through centralised counselling. MIET is located in Meerut.
As for SRM, well, it is SRM, a private institution, a renowned one at that recognised for standards, and given the tuition they demand, buying a student a placement won't be a tough job. MIET has also had great placements throughout the years. Private universities obtain student placements in this manner.
Here are some details. Your choice is yours to make.
Good Luck!!
