    Classrooms are upgraded with projectors, comfortable seating, and are properly ventilated. Most of the time the Wi-Fi on the campus is good but at times it can be very slow. Hostel facilities are available, there are well-furnished rooms, mess facilities, and sports courts.

    Instructors frequently implement case studies, presentations, and debates as part of their teaching methods to enhance the interaction between students and professors. The curriculum is regularly updated and is industry relevant.

    Usually, the lowest package is around 3 LPA. Nearly 85–90% of students in previous batch got placed through campus drives. Some of the top recruiters included Clarivate, Berger Paints, Inj Partners, Infosys, and Dabur, along with a few regional firms and startups offering managerial roles.

    MIET is very well-structured and student-friendly, with all the required basic facilities available for MBA students. Classrooms are not only air-conditioned but they also are equipped with projectors and good seating arrangements. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, with perfect mess facilities but the food is just okay.

    If you’re a proactive student, they will support and guide you well to do projects, get internships, and do case studies. The MBA syllabus of those days kept pace with what the industry demanded and even anticipated the market trends.

    Placements

    The maximum salary package was almost 7.5 LPA, the average was between 3 and 4 LPA, and the minimum was almost 2 LPA. Most of the companies that came to our campus to recruit were the banks and financial institutions, local consultancy firms, and small-scale enterprises.

    The majority of the students who are regular in academics as well as technical skills are able to obtain good offers. Though not all offers are high-paying, there is a good opportunity to get something with persistence and preparedness.

    MIET has a well-maintained pharmacy building and supply for laboratories which are sufficient for the basic practicals of pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and chemistry. The hostels are good but a little expensive and food in the mess is mediocre.

    Teachers are very good at simplifying the concepts and pushing students towards research projects, whereas a few resort to the regular teaching only. The curriculum is updated as per PCI norms but there is very little practical exposure in the industry. The hard side of the exams can be lowered as far as they are manageable with the regular attendance of the classes

    Placements

    A limited number of students get placements in pharma marketing firms or small-scale manufacturing companies like Akums, Mankind, and Alembic, the majority of students are either engaged in the preparation of higher studies (M.Pharm, MBA, GPAT) or are job hunting off-campus.

    Faculty members at MIET are cooperative and are highly experienced with many having a PhD and industrial experience. They not only teach theory but also take a lot of efforts for the practical exposure, and consequently, they often have guest lectures from the corporate sector.

    The highest package generally goes to around 14-15 LPA, the lowest is approximately 3.5 LPA, and the average package is between 5-6 LPA range. Companies like Dabur, Asian Paints, Naukri.com, Mahindra Finance, and Wipro have visited the campus.

    Placements of approximately 60–65% of students was done from my batch. companies such as Ganpect Infrastructure, Bigbasket, Axis Softech, and Novigo Consultants came to the campus. The highest package facilitated was in the range of 10 LPA.

    Semester exams are not very difficult if you attend classes regularly. Attendance of more than 75% is required. The pass percentage is maintained at around 35–40%, and the syllabus is in line with the industry requirements to make students ready for placements.

    The top offering package was about 18 LPA, whereas the average stay between 5 LPA to 6 LPA. The lowest package is usually around 3 LPA. Some of the companies like Havells, Berger Paints, Jaro Education, Decathlon, and Axis Securities have come to the campus for recruitment. About 75–80% of the students get the opportunity to be placed every year.

    MIET imparts good infrastructure facilities to the students of Biotechnology. The classrooms are neat and have projectors for presentation purposes. The library contains a good number of books in the area of Biotechnology. Plus, if needed, they can also make use of a 24×7 ambulance service which is at their disposal for medical support.

    The faculty in the Biotechnology department is knowledgeable and cooperative. Many of them have a Ph.D. and have a strong background in research. They are quite friendly with the students and they are mostly found at the time of doubt-solving sessions.

    Most of the students are hired by the companies that are medium in size and low in the level of business such as Panacea Biotec, Radico Remedies, Jubilant Biosys, and Akums Drugs. A small number of internships are provided, but all are in research labs and local companies rather than in the big ones.

The classrooms are well-lit with projectors and quite spacious although not all of them are air-conditioned. The library has enough good management books and journals. The whole campus has Wi-Fi but sometimes students have to use their mobile data because of the slow speed.

    Instructors involve the use of case studies and real-life examples during their teachings which attracts more engagement of students in classes. The syllabus is kept up with the requirements of the industry and the students are free to choose their electives to broaden their scope of learning.

    One of the students was offered a package of 18 LPA from Shriram Finance this year, and in addition to that, approximately 5–6 students have been able to secure packages above 9–10 LPA. The average package is said to be in a range of 5–6 LPA, which is acceptable for MBA freshers. Some of the top recruiters are Uflex Ltd., DCM Shriram, DS Group, and Varun Beverages.
