The classrooms are large and modernized for the interactive learning that takes place. The library and computer labs are always open for students who want to study or do project work. Good sports facilities, a canteen with a good selection of food, and clean common areas are provided for the overall experience.
The faculty members at the college are very friendly and they really want the students to do well. We are given the chance to do industry visits, use case studies, and attend workshops so as to get our hands on with the theory.
Every year, besides the many rumors, a lot of the really well-known corporations lead by people from different fields like finance, marketing, consulting, and operations fly in and visit our school. Our course has been achieving very good placement results each year, with the majority of the students being able to get jobs with good salary packages.
The college has decent infrastructure that mainly meets the academic purposes. Classrooms are in good condition but not have AC's. The mess is providing good food, but the variety is quite limited. college have 5-6 Auditorium hall for many events.
Laboratory staff have adequate experience and will be of great assistance in the practicum. The quality of teaching is kept to the satisfaction of many, however, some professors are less engaging. Fests and seminars also organized every month or or every quarter.
Some of the top recruiters that visit the college are local firms and regional manufacturing companies. In general, India-based and international placements are average, and usually, if students are very energetic, they will look for off-campus placements to get better offers.
MIET is equipped with adequate infrastructure and comes with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, projectors, libraries, and computer labs. Bus Facility is available for Nearby students and for the other city or state students Histel Facility is also available inside the campus.
Faculty here consists of highly-qualified personnel and many professors have PhDs in their areas of specialization. They are always likely to be there for you when you have doubts and they do a good job in academic as well as career guidance for the students.
The MIET MBA placement history is very decent. A good number of students get placed every year, with the likes of Berger Paints, Hike Education, ITC, and Stealmax as the recruiting companies. The top package offered crosses ₹10 LPA while the average package is generally between ₹4–5 LPA.
Classrooms are clean, wide, and fully equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. The library is also in good condition, with a nice array of books and journals. Food in the mess is average sometimes good, sometimes not so great.
The difficulty level of exams is moderate; regular class attendance and good preparation make passing not a big problem. Though overall academic experience is satisfactory, there is a scope of improvement in practical industry exposure.
Placements for MBA are average here. Around the few that students get, decent packages are there, while most students are happy with offers in the range of ₹3–4 LPA. Last year the highest package for MBA was about off-campus of ₹9 LPA. On-campus, most companies are local or mid-level firms like ICICI Prudential, Byju’s, and Future Generali that offer sales, operations, or entry-level management roles.
There are different labs for the subjects like thermodynamics, strength of materials, and fluid mechanics, but some of the machines are old. Classrooms are nice, Wi-Fi is throughout the campus, but the speed is not always constant.
Faculty members are good and do their best to give students a proper direction. Majority of them have enough experience and are good at concept clarifications, but industrial exposure is very limited. The course curriculum is decent to impart technical knowledge even though it is not always aligned with the current industry requirements.
Only about 25-30% of my course students get placed each year. The salary package is usually between ₹2.5 LPA to ₹4.5 LPA, which is quite mediocre. Companies like Hero, JBM Group, and a few local manufacturing firms visit for recruitment; however, the number of openings is not enough.
Boys and girls' hostels are safe and good, each with its separate block, and there is enough living space. Although mess food is good, most students prefer ordering from nearby outlets. There is a small sports area and a simple gym facility.
The teachers are highly qualified and always open to communication. They lead the understanding of concepts with good examples and encourage the students to get involved with practical learning through case studies, assignments, and group discussions.
The students can avail themselves of job opportunities in various sectors like finance, marketing, operations, and consulting. The average package is nice, and while a few high performers are able to obtain above-average offers.
The computer labs are well-equipped to conduct the practical sessions, and the library has a pretty good collection of technical books. The hostels are not expensive and are definitely nice enough. There is a good sports facility, a jogging track, and common areas for recreation.
The curriculum is pretty much current and also gives a decent understanding of computer science topics, although, for technical exposure, students could ask for more. guest lectures and industrial visit are rarely organized.
Placements for CSE at MIET are average. Many students get placed in various companies, but you will find that most of the job offers are with mid-sized or local IT firms rather than big tech giants. Internships are also hard to find which is not good.
Classrooms have projector, whiteboard, and Wi-Fi equipped. Mechanical labs are okay with the equipment for practical learning but there is some machine which needs regular maintenance. The library has a variety of textbooks and reference material.
Most of the faculty members have proper qualifications and many of them have a PhD degree. They know their subject and teach the core mechanical concepts effectively. Some teachers are friendly and always ready to give help, while others are less communicative.
The topmost salary offered was approximately 5 LPA, while the lowest was around 1.5 LPA and the average package is between 2.5-3 LPA. Bajaj Auto, JBM Group, L&T, and Hero MotoCorp are among the companies coming for recruitment. The primary roles open for selection are mechanical engineer, design engineer, and production executive.
The infrastructure of MIET is above average. Classrooms are large and have equipment like projectors and smart boards. Labs are kept in good condition, and the library consists of a wide range of books and other resources related to management studies. The MBA hostel is there and is equipped with all the basics such as a mess, recreation area, and Wi-Fi.
The curriculum is designed taking into consideration the management industry of today and it comprises such subjects as Business Analytics, Financial Management, and Marketing Strategy. Exams are quite challenging. Faculty members also coordinate students in the difficult part of the projects, case studies and internship applications by which they can be benefited in their career.
Most of the jobs that are on offer are in marketing, operations, finance, and analytics. About 60-70% of the batch got successful in placements, and through industry tie-ups, internships are provided, whereas some students still need to look for off-campus opportunities.
Internet or Wi-Fi connectivity is weak throughout the campus. There are some food outlets nearby, and sports and recreation facilities for basic needs are available, but unfortunately, hostels are good and well maintained
MBA faculty at MIET are supportive and well-qualified. Teachers are always available and ready to solve problems, and a few even manage to organize long extra sessions if addressed. The curriculum is industry-oriented and management basics are focused upon; however, more updating efforts may still be needed to cover the latest market trend in some subjects.
About 50-55% of students manage to get placed through the campus placement drives. The highest package offered last year was somewhere near 12 LPA, whereas the average package was around 6-7 LPA, and the lowest was about 3.5-4 LPA.
