    The hostel facilities are decent, with furnished rooms and a mess that serves average but hygienic food. The canteen is affordable and has good options for snacks. Sports facilities such as a cricket ground, basketball court, and indoor games are also available. Wi-Fi connectivity on campus could be better, but overall facilities are satisfactory.

    Academics

    Semester exams are not very difficult if you attend classes regularly. Attendance of more than 75% is required. The pass percentage is maintained at around 35–40%, and the syllabus is in line with the industry requirements to make students ready for placements.

    Placements

    The top offering package was about 18 LPA, whereas the average stay between 5 LPA to 6 LPA. The lowest package is usually around 3 LPA. Some of the companies like Havells, Berger Paints, Jaro Education, Decathlon, and Axis Securities have come to the campus for recruitment. About 75–80% of the students get the opportunity to be placed every year.

    MIET imparts good infrastructure facilities to the students of Biotechnology. The classrooms are neat and have projectors for presentation purposes. The library contains a good number of books in the area of Biotechnology. Plus, if needed, they can also make use of a 24×7 ambulance service which is at their disposal for medical support.

    Academics

    The faculty in the Biotechnology department is knowledgeable and cooperative. Many of them have a Ph.D. and have a strong background in research. They are quite friendly with the students and they are mostly found at the time of doubt-solving sessions.

    Placements

    Most of the students are hired by the companies that are medium in size and low in the level of business such as Panacea Biotec, Radico Remedies, Jubilant Biosys, and Akums Drugs. A small number of internships are provided, but all are in research labs and local companies rather than in the big ones.

    The infrastructure at MIET is up to the mark and provides all the necessary amenities for MBA students. The classrooms are well-lit with projectors and quite spacious although not all of them are air-conditioned. The library has enough good management books and journals. The whole campus has Wi-Fi but sometimes students have to use their mobile data because of the slow speed.

    Academics

    Instructors involve the use of case studies and real-life examples during their teachings which attracts more engagement of students in classes. The syllabus is kept up with the requirements of the industry and the students are free to choose their electives to broaden their scope of learning.

    Placements

    One of the students was offered a package of 18 LPA from Shriram Finance this year, and in addition to that, approximately 5–6 students have been able to secure packages above 9–10 LPA. The average package is said to be in a range of 5–6 LPA, which is acceptable for MBA freshers. Some of the top recruiters are Uflex Ltd., DCM Shriram, DS Group, and Varun Beverages.

The Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the campus, but the speed is not always very good. The library is very resourceful with books, journals, and e-materials for MBA students.

Several companies like Ganpact, IRB, TCI Express, Kotak Securities, and Berger Paints come to the campus for recruiting.

    The entire campus for CSE is average with some basic facilities. Most are average for the classrooms, except for some which are equipped with projectors. The size of the library is small however, during the exams, it is often very crowded.

    The students lack enough practical exercise and are hardly involved in industry-based projects. A few teachers are very friendly and always ready to help but most of them are not very interactive during the classes. Institute is not only teaching the trending topics like the Data science field, cloud basics but also maturing every student along with the curriculum.

    Placements

    The number of good companies that come to the campus to hire is very low, most of the recruiters are local IT firms such as TechNova Solutions, BrightEdge Infotech, Webpulse systems, and Codewave technologies. Herein, only 30-35% of the student population can secure employment through the campus placement drive

    Projector equipped classrooms are provided and they are comfortable to work in, though not all of them are air-conditioned. The library is just okay and it does have quite a few finance, HR, and marketing-related books. There is Wi-Fi available all over the campus but it is not that fast at times.

    The teachers are always there when you need them but the quality of the teaching is just average. A part of the faculty is experienced and implements case studies, however, anothers mostly just theoretical teaching. The MBA curriculum is up-to-date which also includes students’ choice of electives like HR, Finance, and Marketing.

    Placements

    The highest salary package was approximately 19 LPA, whereas the lowest went to 3 LPA. The average package is about 4–5 LPA. Among the companies located on our campus, Ganpact Solutions, IRB Consultants, Maxgrow Finance, and Infomatrix Services were the ones which took away the highest number of students.

    The MIET campus consists of proper academic blocks, labs, and libraries that are all well-kept. The ECE labs despite not being ultra-modern are equipped well enough for practical learning. Though Wi-Fi is available most of the time, it can be a little weak in some places. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls

    Academics

    The faculty members working in the ECE department are very helpful and are always ready to listen. Most of them emphasize teaching the basics very clearly, but students are expected to be self-motivated for advanced industry-level skills. A few teachers not only guide us in our projects but also motivate us to participate in technical events.

    Placements

    For the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at MIET the placement scene is just moderate. Most of the companies that visit the campus are IT service-based firms such as TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and a few local recruiters. Only a few core electronics companies come, so students generally do not get enough opportunities and have to apply off-campus to get better positions in their field.

    MIET is the campus of fully green and neat and thus it gives a calm atmosphere which is quite a good place for studying. The size of classrooms is quite big and all the necessities like the projector, air-conditioner and water supply are there.

    The professors of MBA department are very polite, they are, in fact, very nice persons and always ready to help. Almost all qualified professors take theory and practical simultaneously. The curriculum is very much connected with the industry, and the semester exams are quite easy as well.

    Placements

    Around half of the total placed students were employed by small or medium-sized local companies such as Creston Consulting, Trident Solutions, and BrightPath Analytics that gave them salary packages of nearly 4–5 LPA. The other 50% of the total students were hired by large and well-known companies like Ganpect, IRB Infrastructure, and Reliance Retail where the average packages were 7–8 LPA.

Good sports facilities, a canteen with a good selection of food, and clean common areas are provided for the overall experience.

    The faculty members at the college are very friendly and they really want the students to do well. We are given the chance to do industry visits, use case studies, and attend workshops so as to get our hands on with the theory.

    Every year, besides the many rumors, a lot of the really well-known corporations lead by people from different fields like finance, marketing, consulting, and operations fly in and visit our school. Our course has been achieving very good placement results each year, with the majority of the students being able to get jobs with good salary packages.
