My study is MBA and the administration here is very efficient. The classrooms are big and have all the necessary facilities, and the library has the latest books and journals. The hostel rooms are tidy and well-maintained, and the mess provides good food. Sports facilities are also available
The teachers combination of theoretical background and practical experience in the corporate world makes the learning process more engaging and efficient. They conduct classes interactively and also employ case studies and real business examples.
A lot of prestigious companies such as Deloitte, Ernst & Young, ITC Limited, Britannia, and Asian Paints are the ones who come to take interviews. I cannot express enough how thankful I am being exposed to the world and having so many possibilities just because of my college, as the continuous support from faculty and the placement cell was a big part of my success in placement.
The hostel is also okay, the food served in the mess and the canteen is hygienic and nutritious. The college also provides medical facilities within the campus and has good arrangements for sports and games which is a nice break for students.
Most of the faculty members in the CSE department are well-qualified, supportive, and caring. They do the teaching with examples and also guide us in our projects. The semester exams, compared to other colleges, are harder but the passing criteria are fair. Regular assignments and class tests play the role of practice for us.
The highest package in my course is up to 6 LPA whereas the lowest package is around 2.5 LPA. The majority of the students get internships during the course, the companies are mainly IT and software firms where we have TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Capgemini.
Hostel facilities are clean, and the quality of food is up to the mark and better than in most institutes in the area. You can avail the sports facility for leisure activities and the medical room is also there for any emergency. Moreover, the environment around is such that it energizes the students to put more efforts in their studies and personal development.
The faculty members are highly qualified, very polite, and knowledgeable. Not only do they concentrate on theory in the class but they also urge students to follow up with practical exposure, communication, and personality skills. There is a lot of organizing of seminars, case studies, and guest lectures on a regular basis.
The highest salary package is around ₹10–12 LPA, and the average package goes around ₹5–6 LPA. Our batch has been lucky enough to get placed in companies like Dabur, Nestlé, Kotak Mahindra, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, and Airtel, among others.
MIET has good and student-friendly infrastructure in general. There are computer labs with internet facilities, and the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The auditorium is big enough to host such events as seminars, guest lectures, and placement drives.
The Faculty of MBA at MIET is really great and they provide a lot of support. A majority of the staff have a Ph.D. along with some work experience from the industrial sector. This is one of the reasons why the teaching quality is so high. Apart from regular classes, they also hold workshops, industry interactions, and distribute case studies to engage students and make the learning practical.
Almost 85–90% of our batch have successfully secured their positions in the well-known companies. The salary we get depends on how well we perform and communication skills as well. The lowest package starts from ₹3.2 LPA, and conversely, the highest package can reach up to ₹12 LPA, with the average package spanning around ₹6 LPA.
The hostels are up to the mark, besides proper mess facilities, and the quality of food is even better than expected. The canteen is clean and provides affordable meals. The atmosphere of the college is really very energetic and there are various events like the cultural fest and sports which take the students a little beyond the syllabus.
Masters use case studies, assignments, and questions to make the sessions more interactive. The curriculum is updated as per the latest industry trends, which somehow makes students very competitive in the corporate world. Simply put, the faculty contributes most to the job or business readiness of the students.
Tech Mahindra, Marico, Dabur, Axis Bank, and IDBI Bank are a few of the companies that came for our placement. The highest salary package offered was around ₹7 LPA, whereas the average package remained near to ₹4.5–5 LPA. Students were also offered internships in large companies, which was beneficial as it provided us with the required exposure before the final placement.
At that time, the campus has been great considering the facilities offered. Except for a few, the classrooms did not have smart boards, but they were clean and well-ventilated. The library was a backbone of the management department with sufficient resource materials. Labs were present but the Wi-Fi connection was not excellent all over the campus.
The faculties in the MBA department were always ready to help and were full of knowledge. A lot of the teachers were highly qualified and always made the theoretical learning more practical through their own experiences. The teachers were always accessible, and besides instilling the academic discipline, they also motivated students to prepare themselves progressively in order to get better opportunities outside the campus.
The percentage of students who got up to 60 were placed ranged from 50 to 60%. The salary packages were not very attractive - the lowest was roughly 1.8-2.5 LPA, and the average was around 3 LPA. That year, the highest package was just below 4 LPA. The companies that came to recruit were mostly SMEs from the local area and mid-sized organizations
The infrastructure of MIET is something to be admired. The campus is spacious and well-kept, and it provides free Wi-Fi, a digital library, and advanced labs for research and learning. The hostel is equipped and food is also hygienic, and the college provides students with everything they need, be it academics, sports, or extracurricular activities.
The professors are really concerned about the students and put in a lot of effort to prepare the students for academics as well as placements. Most of them possess good qualifications, have a good experience of teaching, and have industrial exposure.
Nearly 95% of the students are able to secure job offers every year. The lowest package starts from about 3.5 LPA, while the average package is around 6–7 LPA, and a few students also make it to the higher packages which mainly depend on their track record.
The library is really big and has a lot of management books and journals. Even the hostel facilities are good and reasonable compared to other institutes. The food in the mess is also hygienic. Sports grounds, an auditorium, and laboratories are some of the other facilities which a student can get to know while being at the college.
The faculty members at MIET are very knowledgeable and always ready to help. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and apart from the academic knowledge, they also share their industry stories with you. They do it by means of case studies, group discussions, and live projects.

The hostel is affordable and the quality of food in mess is satisfactory. Besides, the college also provides sports facilities, medical aid, and a canteen where you can get food of hygiene and cleanliness.
Most of the teachers support students focusing on research and postgraduate studies. The quality of teaching is good but the content of the course is mostly theoretical and there is not much exposure to the industry. Some more practical training and motivational sessions would help in making the students more industry-ready.
Placements of biotechnology students at MIET are neither very good nor very bad. Alongside some companies, who visit for recruiting, the number of available positions is limited in comparison with other branches such as CSE or ECE. About 25–30% of the students from our batch were able to get placed. The money that the employees get can also differ, where the most elevates till about ₹4.5 LPA and the least around ₹2 LPA.
