ADMISSION PROCEDURE IN MITHIBAI COLLEGE

Admission of students into the autonomous degree courses will be on the basis of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination for both the under- graduate and the post-graduate courses, unless specified otherwise. All applications for admissions should be submitted online by the date notified by the college. Late applications will not be accepted.

All admissions are provisional and subject to enrolment and granting of eligibility by the University of Mumbai. The college is conferred with Gujarati linguistic minority status by the Government of Maharastra under which 50% of the seats the entry level are reserved for the foresaid linguistic minority, (after admitting in-house students for undergraduate aided courses viz. F.Y. B.A /B.Com / B.Sc ONLY).  NO in-house quota is applicable for admissions to unaided courses. The remaining seats are allotted as per merit and according to other norms laid down by the Government from time to time.

No college in Mumbai connected with Mumbai University offers a BBA degree; however, NMIMS, not to be confused with NM, which is a private and autonomous college, does provide a BBA degree.


In addition, BMS is Mumbai University's BBA equivalent. In both BMS and BBA, the curriculum and teaching methodology are the same.

Mitthibai College Mumbai is a Private NAAC A Autonomous institute of University of Mumbai, Mumbai . The college offers numerous UG & PG as well as Doctoral courses but it don't offer any intermediate colleges such as 12th. If you wish you have to go for the Junior colleges but Mitthibai College isn't a Junior college.

Bsc Computer science is a 3 years course in Mithibai college with a total course fee of Rs 53,763.

In previous years 40 percent of the students got placed with the highest salary package offered was approximately 6 LPA to 7 LPA while the lowest ranged from 2.5 to 3.5 LPA. The job role which was  offered are: web developer, associate analyst, QA engineering tech associate, mobile and android developer, etc.

Faculty were all knowledgeable in their field of study and are well qualified and student friendly.

No mithibai College of Arts of Mumbai grants admission to the Bachelor of Arts Psychology course on the basis of merit score secured by the student in class 10 plus 2 level board examination. Majorly dppends on the stream you want to choose. Since this year, everything was online, the cutoff percentile was really high.

For science stream, it was 94.40%. For commerce stream, it was roughly around 92% and for arts it was 89%.

So to be on safer side you should try to aim for 97 and 98 percentage to ensure your seat.

Hi aspirants, based on your question let me tell you that Admission in Mithibai College of Arts Mumbai is already done through online mode. The application form releases in May for UG, whereas for PG, the application form releases in June every year. On August 17, 2021, the first merit list for MU affiliated colleges has already been released.

College Infrastructure

mithibai has a desent infra with AC classroom & labs. Compact 3-acre campus in a building shared with other colleges. Good library & gymkhan. Canteen food is a mixed bag. Lifts can be insuffucent. overall functions but now sparwling
