MKM College of Polytechnic for Girls, Palwal, came into its present existence on 2011 with the avowed object of becoming a lighthouse of technical education for young women in Haryana. The institute is situated at Hodal close to the Bus Stand District Palwal and is exclusively for female students who wish to learn so that with technical quality education they may enable the women. This affiliated college, approved by AICTE, offers miscellaneous diploma programmes, the curricula of which are periodically designed to meet the changing requirements of the industry. With an enrolment of 284 students and 24 faculty members, it sustains an ideal academic environment with a very favourable Student-Teacher Ratio.

MKM College of Polytechnic for Girls has a number of facilities that make studying here more rewarding. The various academic resources are supplemented by a well-stocked library with around 2,500 volumes. In addition to these books, the facility subscribes to 15 journals and 10 magazines. Among them are the Language/Communication, Digital and Microprocessor, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Consumer Electronics, Fashion Technology, and Medical Laboratory Technology labs, among several in Physics and Chemistry. Each one of these labs is fully equipped with the latest software and hardware to help students get hands-on experience with the industry-standard tools. Other facilities in the institution reflect this commitment towards all-round development. A well-equipped sports complex caters to the physical fitness needs of the students, while the auditorium serves as a venue for cultural events and seminars. The college will also cater with its healthy meal preparing college canteen, along with ratio-wise health centre where first-aid facilities are available.

MKM College of Polytechnic for Girls comes up with a different range of diploma programmes, all full-time courses running for three years, except the Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, which is two years. These courses exist with the purpose of providing engineering and technology education to address contemporary, most relevant needs that place the student at the threshold of the respective career.
