UPES is reputed private university offering various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various disciplines such as law, engineering,business,health science to name a few. This university also provide financial aid to students in the form of scholarships to various students on different criteria.

UPES is recognized by UGC, a member of AIU and has been accredited with Grade B by NAAC.The campus size is 42 acre with facilities of hostels for boys as well as girls,cafeteria,gym,library,trasport etc.

Last year placement record was 94% with various national and multinational company visiting the campus  such as Ashok Leyland, LinkedIn, Amazon, Delloitte, EY to name a few. The highest pay package was of Rs 44 lpa offered to BTech CSE candidate, also the same stream candidates bagged the maximum scores of international placement.

All of these are pretty good choices and to rate them would be a personal thing to do. But I am rating these choices as per which would be best for a fruitful career

1. B-Tech Petroleum Engineering from UPES - 2

2. B-Tech DIT University - 1

3. B-Tech LPU - 2

Both are good choices. Through JEE Mains it is little tough because of the cut off. I suggest you to appear in JEE Mains and also if you want admission in UPES then appear for the UPES entrance test, but I will also suggest that if you want computer science then there are so many other good options for this stream. Like you can take admission in BIT MESRA and its off-campuses, Chandigarh University, etc..

see both of the college upes dehradun and ITM gwalior is excellent in terms of infrastructure , placement record and experienced faculty, upes cse placement history is excellent, average package offered in 4.35 lpa, and highest package was 23 lpa. In itm gwalior The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA and the average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. from ny point of view upes is stands better than ITM.

UPES is a good college as compared to ITM due to the fact that UPES is a well known college among recruiters and therefore the placements are quite good in the UPES as compared to the ITM.

Moreover, the teaching staff at the UPES is also very good and highly qualified so you will get a good quality education there.
