Admission Process 2021
SDA Bocconi Asia Center offers admission to the International Master in Business (IMB). SDA Bocconi Asia Center IMB programme has a duration of 1.8 year programme comprising two 11-month modules. The second module includes a 4-month specialization semester wherein students have to spend their semester at the Bocconi main campus in Milan, Italy. In order to enrol for SDA Bocconi Asia Center admissions candidates must have 50% across 10th, 12th and under graduation and a minimum aggregate average of 65% of 10+12+graduation.
Apart from the eligibility criteria, the other things which are considered to get admission at SDA Bocconi Asia Center are; academic abilities, entrance exam scores, interest in an extracurricular and personal interview. Candidates should have valid scores either of CAT, GMAT, GRE, NMAT by GMAC or Bocconi Test entrance examination for SDA Bocconi Asia Center IMB admissions.
Talking about the selection process at SDA Bocconi Asia Center, Alessandro Giuliani, Managing Director, SDA Bocconi Asia Center said, "We are a profile-based school. We look at four different things. First, we look at the academics – performance in 10, 12 and graduation. Then we take the entrance test scores into account; we accept CAT, MAT, GMAT, GRE scores and we also have our own Bocconi test. We also consider extracurricular activities. Then we have a Personal Interview. There is no set cutoff but we consider 85+ percentile CAT cutoff for shortlisting."
He further added "Students interested in just a piece of paper and placement should avoid joining our institution because there is a lot to do apart from that. Students who really look forward to the life changing experiences should definitely join. Students are required to have at least one live project throughout."

SDA Bocconi Asia Center IMB admissions are offered on the basis of the overall profile analysis that comprises of three major factors:
Academic Abilities - Candidates should have a consistent academic background and should be capable of working under pressure.
Extra-Curricular & Soft skills - Management experience, communication skills, leadership potential, entrepreneurial experience, involvement in community/social clubs, creativity, interest in sports or cultural arts, etc are added advantage as it indicates that the candidate is not only good at academics but also has an interest in extracurricular activities,
Personal Interview - The performance in the interview is also an important part of the SDA Bocconi Asia Center IMB selection process.
SDA Bocconi Asia Center IMB Eligibiliy Criteria
Candidates should have a graduate degree from a recognised institution.
50% marks in Class X, XII & graduation each or candidates should have 65% marks as an average of X, XII & graduation.
CAT/NMAT by GMAC/GMAT/GRE/Bocconi Test
(CAT percentile should be above 85)
SDA Bocconi Asia Center Application Process
Register and fill the application form for both the programmes.
Fill the application form and upload the documents and submit them.
After submission of the application form, pay the fee of INR 2500.
SDA Bocconi Asia Center IMB Admission
Aspirants have to apply and appear for CAT/NMAT by GMAC/GMAT/GRE
Eligible candidates have to submit the SDA Bocconi Asia Center application form.
Candidates who have not appeared for CAT/NMAT by GMAC/GMAT/GRE have to take the SDA Bocconi Test.
Based on the marks scored in the entrance examination, candidates will be shortlisted for the further SDA Bocconi Asia admission process.
Further, candidates have to appear and qualify for the interview.
Final admission will be offered based on the combined performance in the entrance examination, past academic records, performance in the interview, and extra-curricular activities.

Academic Abilities: Candidates with a consistent academic background and a demonstrated ability to cope with the rigor of the program have an advantage in the selection process
Soft skills and talents, such as enthusiasm, ability to listen, concentration, involvement, responsibility, motivation to grow as a manager and a person is critical for selection; it is meant not only to determine if the candidates are suitable for the program, but also whether the program will meet each candidate’s expectations and career goals.
Test Scores: Applicants must also score well on admission test scores (CAT, GMAT, GRE, NMAT by GMAC or Bocconi test).
Personal Interview: Interviews are conducted following an initial pre-selection based on the dossier submission. Candidates are evaluated on multiple parameters such as problem-solving skills, communication, and overall profile. Soft skills and talents, such as enthusiasm, ability to listen, concentration, involvement, responsibility, motivation to grow as a manager and a person is critical for selection and is evaluated through the personal interview; it is meant not only to determine if the candidates are suitable for the program, but also whether the program will meet each candidate’s expectations and career goals.
