    College Infrastructure

The Infrastructure of the college is, honestly, average. The college was built in 1955. So, the infrastructure is a bit boring and old. The classrooms are big and spacious. They have smart boards but are not used properly. There is a main canteen in the campus. The central library is big. The hostels are also decent but the mess food is not at all good. The wi-fi speed is though fine.

    Academics

I am pursuing B.tech. in CSE. The quality of teaching is good here. The faculty is great. They are well-experienced and learned. They are ready to take your doubts anytime. There are frequent workshops conducted to make the students aware of latest technologies and developments in the field.

    Placements

The placement scenario is good and improving by each year passing. The average package for CSE and IT stream is 3.5 LPA. There are a lot of mass recruiters too , that take the students from campus placements in bulk. The training department is good and helpful. Overall, The placement of this college is good.

    Value for Money

the course costs about 80,000 per year. I feel my money is getting its worth because the teachers are great and helpful. Also, The placements are improving in this college.

    Campus Life

The campus life is a bit boring. There is nothing much to do in your free time. You can get sports equipments and play or just sit around in the canteen. They don't allow you to get out of the college gate without the permission of higher authorities. You can join some clubs or societies for co-cultural activities. That is the best way to pass your free time here.

    Others

My experience so far has been decent. You should definitely try looking for better government college. But if you don't get any, you might consider this college. It is overall a good college.

    Good college!

    College Infrastructure

College infrastructure of our college is not that good. Buildings are very old . They need to renovate it. Library is goood. There is no smart boards in classrooms. Classrooms are not that good. There are court of basketball and badminton. But they are not well built!

    Academics

Academics of the college is not that good. Though curriculum is updated an year ago and it aslo includes all the recent development which is required for placement. But faculty is not that good. Most of the faculty just come to college for salary. But yeah some of them are very co-operative and motivate us a lot to gain practical knowledge!

    Placements

Placements are quite good. From a college point of view , 80% of the students get placed which is quite a huge no. Highest package offered was around 25 lacks while average package varies from 3.5 to 5 lacks per annum . Many big MNC's come here for placement.

    Value for Money

If you ask me about money i guess i am getting my money's worth because the course fee is quite less as compared to other institutions . Fee for my stream is 90000 per year . Hostel fee is also affordable .

    Campus Life

Campus life is average because location of college is on main road away from any commercial or residential area. Students come here from all over the india. Location is safe though. College also provides medical facilities.

    Others

Overall the college is good. If you are a sincere student who want to get placement . It is the place for you where you can achieve your dreams. Also college time is one of the best time which you would enjoy here for sure. All the best!

    Great Faculty

    College Infrastructure

The college was built in 1995. SO, the infrastructure is kind of old. The College buildings are not in their best state. The classrooms are okayish. They are non-AC, though spacious. The laboratory equipments are not properly maintained. The computer Labs are fine. There is a main canteen where you can get tea and other food items whenever you want. The main library is decent and has all the required and prescribed books for various courses. The Hostels are so-so.

    Academics

I am studying B.Tech. in CSE from JMIT. The academics are fine. The course curriculum is not updated and they have been teaching the old same syllabus for years now. The faculty is good. The teachers are learned and experienced. They also take doubt sessions from time to time. But the course curriculum surely needs to be updated.

    Placements

The quality of placements is becoming better by each year passing. The companies like Infosys, Wipro etc. The no. of mass recruiters visiting the campus is however, more than the product based companies. The college's Placement Department is quite Supportive at the time of placement. But, eventually a lot depends on your Hard word and capablities. The average package for CSE and IT stream in 3.5 LPA.

    Value for Money

The course costs about 80,000 per year. The fees is decent and I do feel that I am getting my Money's worth. The fees is decent according to the facilities provided to us.

    Campus Life

The campus life is average mainly due to the strict rules and policies. There is only One main gate and you need the permission of higher authorities to get yourself out of the gate. The location is also not the safest. It is by the highway. The student crowd is good. There are many clubs that you can join. Events are also organised one week or the other. Overall, The campus life is just fine.

    Others

In my view, This college is good but it shouldn't be your first option to go for. Try to aim for better institutions and if you are not getting any, then this one is a decent college for you.

    College Infrastructure

The college has just average infrastructure. As the college was established in 1995, the college is kind of old. The college campus is not that big. It has only One Gate. Talking about the classrooms, they are spacious and well-equipped. The laboratories are also decent and have all the necessary instruments. There is one main library in the campus from where the books of various subjects can be issued using the library card. The hostels are decent and the wi-fi speed is good.

    Academics

I was the student of B.tech. in ECE . JMIT has very promising staff. The quality of teaching is good. The professors are really helpful and supportive. Doubts can be taken anytime you want. However, Separate Doubt Classes are also there for students. Teachers emphasize on teaching the deep concepts for better understanding and give preference to practical knowledge. Even, some of the faculty even helps in maintaining attendance.

    Placements

The Placements of my batch were good specifically for CSE branch. Most of the Students of my batch in CSE branch were placed in mass recruiting Companies. Placements for ECE students were not very good. The Average package in my batch was 2 lpa. However, The college Training Department was really supportive and helpful in the placement process.

    Value for Money

The course fees per year currently is about 80,000. I feel the quality of teaching is great in the college and good exposure is given to students. So, the fee is not expensive. It is fine as compared to Other Private Engineering Colleges.

    Campus Life

The campus Life is fine. There are many activities that Students can Engage in. There is a lot of Scope of Sports Activities in the campus. There are many events organised in the campus One week or the Other. Students can become Members of various Clubs and Societies. The location is not the best. It is beside the highway but Students are not allowed to cross the Gate without Permission. This makes the location safer. The canteen is big and has variety of food items.

    Others

The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University. The fees is also affordable as compared to other private engineering colleges. The Quality of placements is also improving each year. Great Emphasis on Practical Knowledge

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is average. The classrooms are big and spacious but lack latest smart classroom technology. The laboratories are although well maintained. There are two hostels in the campus, one is for boys and the other for girls. The mess food is not at all good. The good point is that Students are given ample opportunities in the field of sports in the campus itself. The campus is clean and green but not that big.

    Academics

I pursued B. tech in CSE. The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The course curriculum was good. We were given practical exposure along with theory classes. Almost all the teachers are well qualified and helpful. The staff is good and ready to take doubts anytime. The main plus Point was that practical based knowledge was given to us, unlike most of the private colleges in the region, which mainly focus on theory subjects.

    Placements

Placements are average. Most of the companies are mass recruiters. There are very less product-based companies that visit the campus. Although, the training and placement departmental is very helpful and supportive . In My batch, the highest package offered was 3 Lpa.

    Value for Money

The course fee was about 50,000 per annum. I think the college offers good opportunities to its students to learn and grow. The fee is not much as compared to other private engineering colleges. The fee of other courses were even lesser.

    Campus Life

The campus life is average. This is because of the strict attendance policy and not-so-good location of the college. The college has only 1 gate and students are not allowed to get outside the campus without permission of the H.O.D. even in the break time. So the fun is restricted to within the boundaries of campus. Though, there are many events occuring in the campus one day or the other by various departments. Eventually, the campus life depends on your friend circle as well.

    Others

The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, which is a decent University of Northern region. The academics is nice but the placement opportunities are so-so.
