JMIT Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Hostel facilities are available for boys. The hostel rooms are fully equipped with adequate furniture & fixtures. Every boarder is provided with a chair, a table, a cot and an almirah. 24 Hour Power backup is available in the hostel. Internet Facility is also available in both the hostels. The facilities for AC rooms (single-triple seaters), common room, indoor games (carrom board, chess etc.), outdoor games (basketball, volleyball etc.), gymnasium, TV room, Guest Room etc. are also available in the hostel.

College has an on-campus dispensary to provide students with minor health ailments and first-aid. Doctors are available during college hours.

Gyms are available on campus at the hostels. There are four gyms on campus with appropriate equipment for the students. They are provided with suitable ventilation systems and well-equipped machines to meet this requirement. 

The Open Access System is used by the library. The library has around 52565 volumes and approximately 3325 educational video cassettes and CDs with viewing capabilities. The DDC 20th edition is used to classify all of the library's books. The library has two online journal subscription packages, as well as 100 national print journals and 16 news papers. The library is computerised to the nth degree.

College has two very big open lush-green grounds within campus which are used by students for various sports like Cricket, Baseball, Football, Volleyball, BasketBall etc. Also these grounds are used for various functions organized either by Students or by College administration.

Institute has strong computation facility infrastructure with a cluster of 1010 computers, 45 laptops and 30 projectors and other interactive devices.

A canteen is available on the college grounds. The canteen provides healthful cuisine and a welcoming environment to let students feel at ease on campus.

The facility of auditorium is available in JMIT and it helps to gather all the students of different branches under one roof. It provides the stage to show the skills of art and management.The auditorium has sitting capacity of 1200 students .All the functions and competitions are successfully organized there. It has three story building with fully air-conditioned atmosphere having facilities of fire alarms and practice rooms. Guest Lectures, Workshops, Convocation, Pre-placement activities take place in Auditorium. Annual Blood donation camp is also organized in it. The location of Auditorium is near the gate of the college.

Day scholars have access to the institute's transportation. The transportation fee is determined by the student's boarding/station. 

Alumni association of this institute was established at JMIT Radaur in 1999. Alumni meet is regularly scheduled at Delhi & JMIT, Radaur. Institute is having its own Facebook group named “JMIT Alumni” with more than 2700 members. The institute is located in an area, which abounds in small-scale and medium scale industries and the students who hail from this area have a preference for raising similar enterprises. The institute is aware that 45 of its alumni have become full-fledged entrepreneurs.

Institute campus is WiFi enabled with a bandwidth of 40MBPS.

The Language Lab platform actively engages students in language learning exercises by facilitating more practice that otherwise possible in traditional classroom environment. It offers plethora of distinguished features where the students can record their own voices and play back the recordings, interact with each other & save the results.

The Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) has a branch on the college campus. An OBC ATM is located on campus, allowing students to obtain cash at any time.
