Academics of sit is non comparable. All faculty members are outstanding with outstanding knowledge. The are full of knowledge and experience. They guides us completely with academics to practical overall .
College Infra
College campus is very beautiful. Sit having kush green campus with very spacious play ground. College campus having great hostel facilities. College having great labs and all facilities. It's having wifi also .
Placements
Placement of sit is outstanding. Placement cell is very supportive. Average placement package is 11 lakh per annum. Average package percentage is 95 plus percentage. Outstanding support and placement support.

Academics
The academic are strong and well structured. The college focuses on practical learning, project, internships, research and industrial oriented skills. The faculty members are experienced, and the curriculum is regularly updated.
College Infra
The college has a large greenary campus with modern class rooms, and advanced laboratory, library, research centers, hostels, sports facilities, auditorium and good digital infrastructure. The campus envieonment is clean, discipline and stable for the both academic and extra curriculum activities.
Campus Life
The campus life active and enjoyable with technical fest and cultural events, club activities, sports and student activities. The college is slightly strict in academic and attendance, but students are still enjoying the balanced and friendly environment.
Placements
The placements are one of the strongest point of SIT. Many reputated companies like Amazon, oracle, ITC, Asian paints and TCS visit the campus. The college reports a high placement rate. The students with good coding and technical skills usually gets good opportunities.
Value For Money
SIT provides good value for money because of strong academic and placements, infrastructure. Fees are reasonable compared to many private colleges with similar opportunities. Facilitates and educational provided. It gives a reasonable value foe money.

Academics
Most teachers here are qualified enough and helpful. But some teachers lack teaching skills. Quality of teaching is above average. The curriculum is good, and they keep updating the syllabus according to the market and job requirements in the industry. The semester exams are based on the topics and syllabus taught by teachers, so it's not very difficult to score if you learn the notes given by teachers.
College Infra
The labs are very good and well-equipped with Wi-Fi and other facilities needed for students to learn. There are many labs in the CSE Department itself, and on every floor, there are 2 to 3 labs equipped with AC. Most classrooms have a projector or smartboard and have comfortable benches, and they're not congested at all. The hostel rooms are average in size,
Placements
Around 80 to 90 percent of students were placed in college. The highest package for 2025 batch was 12.88 LPA, while the average was 9 LPA. For 2026 batch, the average package was 34 LPA. With a COMEDK rank of 23,000, getting ECE at SIT Tumkur is not possible—last year's cutoff was around 16,800, and this year it's expected to be around 11,000.
You can try for other branches like EEE or Mechanical at SIT or look at other colleges with higher cutoffs.
