48 MonthsBachelor of Engineering (BE) in Biotechnology Engineering is a four-year (8 Semesters) full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one among Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject. Obtained atleast 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category of Karnataka) in the above subjects taken together.
Admission Details
Admission through CET :
The government of Karnataka conducts the Common Entrance Test tentatively in the month of April every year. Karnataka domicile students can apply for this test and the allotment of the seats is done online. 45% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through CET. In addition to this, 5% of Super-numerary quota (SNQ) seats are also made available for the meritorious- economically weaker students with the tuition fee waiver provision.
Admission through COMED-K :
Consortium of the management of the private colleges of Karnataka conducts this test tentatively in the month of May every year. Both Karnataka & Non-Karnataka students can appear for this test. 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test.
Admission through Management Quota :
25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota. Provisional admission formality starts in the month of April every year.

Sir m vishveshvaraya colloquially our college is known as MVIT. It's one of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore, with a humongous campus, with a grand library, smart classes, thoroughly WiFi enabled, with well equipped and high class laboratories and a completely hygienic environment.

College Infrastructure
The classrooms are equipped with quality education and smart learning. The laboratories are highly equipped with the right equipment's and they are extremely hygienic. The living space is clean and the food is hygienic.
I've had a pretty decent experience so far.
