Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one among Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject. Obtained atleast 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category of Karnataka) in the above subjects taken together.

Admission Details

Admission through CET :

The government of Karnataka conducts the Common Entrance Test tentatively in the month of April every year. Karnataka domicile students can apply for this test and the allotment of the seats is done online. 45% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through CET. In addition to this, 5% of Super-numerary quota (SNQ) seats are also made available for the meritorious- economically weaker students with the tuition fee waiver provision.

Admission through COMED-K :

Consortium of the management of the private colleges of Karnataka conducts this test tentatively in the month of May every year. Both Karnataka & Non-Karnataka students can appear for this test. 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test.

Admission through Management Quota :

25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota. Provisional admission formality starts in the month of April every year.

College Infrastructure

College has calm and spacious atmosphere. With wide roads, large lawns, and plenty of trees, the environment feels pleasant for studying as well as hanging out with friends. The labs are well maintained, especially in technical departments where hands-on experience matters. Classrooms come with projectors, proper ventilation, and clean seating arrangements. The library is a major resource hub with journals, e-resources, and dedicated reading spaces. Hostels provide a comfortable stay with strict security and regular cleaning.

College Infrastructure

College is large, green, and well-structured. Students enjoy a peaceful learning environment with modern facilities. Classrooms are spacious and kept neat, with good ventilation and projectors in many rooms. Labs are up-to-date and provide the required equipment for practical sessions in all streams. The central library is stocked with a wide collection of books, magazines, and digital resources. Hostels offer decent accommodation with Wi-Fi, healthy food, and study-friendly surroundings. The college canteen serves hygienic and affordable meals.

MVIT is a great opportunity for engineering.

College Infrastructure

Sir m vishveshvaraya colloquially our college is known as MVIT. It's one of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore, with a humongous campus, with a grand library, smart classes, thoroughly WiFi enabled, with well equipped and high class laboratories and a completely hygienic environment.
