Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one among Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject. Obtained atleast 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category of Karnataka) in the above subjects taken together.
Admission through CET :
The government of Karnataka conducts the Common Entrance Test tentatively in the month of April every year. Karnataka domicile students can apply for this test and the allotment of the seats is done online. 45% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through CET. In addition to this, 5% of Super-numerary quota (SNQ) seats are also made available for the meritorious- economically weaker students with the tuition fee waiver provision.
Admission through COMED-K :
Consortium of the management of the private colleges of Karnataka conducts this test tentatively in the month of May every year. Both Karnataka & Non-Karnataka students can appear for this test. 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test.
Admission through Management Quota :
25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota. Provisional admission formality starts in the month of April every year.
The infrastructure of Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is decent and suitable for academic needs. The campus is spacious, with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, and seminar halls. Libraries are equipped with essential books and digital resources for student use. The college also provides facilities such as hostels, sports grounds, and a cafeteria, creating a balanced campus life. Some areas may feel slightly outdated, but overall functionality is maintained. Continuous improvements and maintenance efforts are visible, making the environment comfortable for learning. The greenery and calm surroundings also add to a positive atmosphere for students
Nice.. The college have all the infrastructure, facilities and equipment and all the things are very well equipped.... They have separate building for each branch of engineering. We were also taught using projector.
Our college is having good infrastructure. College is having all the facilities like good classrooms, Wi -Fi facilities, library. Hostel for both girls and boys. Girls hostel is present 1 - 2 km away from the college. Laboratories are well - equipped with new devices. Canteen facility is also available. They will provide hygienic food.
