my kcet rank is 34279 ican get this collage
Since, you haven't mentioned factors like your caste group, if you belong to Hyd-Karnataka Border, your education area, it is difficult for me to find colleges for you for your desired stream. All these factors play a great role in predicting or determining your college.
However, you can use out KCET college predictor and input all the necessary information about yourself, and get the best predicted colleges for your choice of stream.

Or you can also comment below the factors, which I mentioned above, so that I can calculate that for you.
How much is the college fee inthe sir m viveshwaraya institute of Technology engineering college through government seat
Hello student,
The fee structure is like have to pay vtu fee that is Rs. 45000 vtu fee and Rs. 16000 college fee for the first year after that 12000 + 45000 fees only in college. And the examination fee is 2590 for a year and for backlogs have 150 fees for per subjects. The hostel has 75000 fees of year. Fees will be feasible depending on the status of the student. For middle class people the fees cost is feasible but it's could be difficult to poor people. But even though if the students are paying the fees who are poor they have scholarship facility which is issued for SC and ST students.
Thank You!!
Smvit Bangalore or Dayanand Sagar Bangalore and why ?
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
Both are just average colleges, you can expect 2-4 lpa package. Academics and knowledge wise both are above average colleges, I would say that VTU colleges are nice for academic and knowledge point of view.
Though D.S.C.E. offers better academic, educational Infrastructure and education format (comparatively from MVIT) and the ambience of institute as well as hostels is outstanding. The real college life scenarios are to be seen and felt there.
Thank You & All the best!
Which of the following colleges are best for ece 1.DSCE 2.BIT 3.MVIT 4.BMSIT
Hello abbas,
All the colleges you mentioned are good but, birla institute of technology is the best of all.
According to my knowledge if you get into birla institute your life will be set.
Good luck,
Thankyou.
Cse at Sir MVIT Bangalore or cse at techno India salt lake quora
Hello Aspirant,
I will highlight different parameters:
- Location: DSCE is in the heart of city. You get to live urban life. While MVIT is in barren jungle land you can find ongoing stone grinding nearby. Nothing is near to MVIT, to reach Bangalore it will take 1 hour.
- Education Exposure: both are same.
- Personality Exposure: Dayanand Sagar is like Karan Johar movie's college. And MVIT is like typical Indian govt. College. (Although it is semi-private).
- Placement: I guess MVIT has better placement than DSCE ( I know it of 2012 batch). If your are CS/IS student DSCE and MVIT both will get you a job. For core branches opt for MVIT.
Hope this help.
I got 7000 rank in comedk can I get Ece in Sir MVIT ? How are the placements ? Can I expect core companies to select me?
Hello Padmarao,
Firstly congratulations on doing well in the ComedK exams.
Sir MVIT better known as SIR M.Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is a reputed college in the city of Bangalore.
The previous year cutoff for Sir MVIT are -
- BE Biotechnology - 8415
- BE Civil Engg - 13977
- BE Computer Science - 2862
- BE Electrical and Electronics - 10478
- BE Electronics and Communication - 3779
- BE Industrial Engineering and Management - 17218
- BE Information Science and Engineering - 4272
- BE Mechanical Engg - 9227
- BE Telecommunication Engg. - 11093
With a rank of 7000, you can expect to get Electrical and Electronics(EE) among the Electrical core branches but Electronics and Communication(ECE) is a little tough.
The placements in Sir MVIT are good as it is located in the hub region of the country.
The average placement offers amounts to about 4.5 - 5.5 lakhs per annum, while the highest package offered is generally by tech companoes that can amount to about 15-20 lakhs per annum. Higher placement packages have been recorded but they are very rare.
Quite a few number of core companies do visit the college regularly and offer around 5 lakhs per annum. So technically speaking this is a good colleg that has good placemnt oppurtinites.
For more info on placemnets please refer to - https://www.sirmvit.edu/placement/
According to me, since getting ECE is a little tough you could try going into EE or Telecomm branch for now. After completion of 1st year of college you may have a chance of upgrading your branch to ECE. And even if you dont upgrade your bracnh, the placements are almost identical for ECE and EE branches.
Hope this helps and Bst of Luck!

Hi There !
SIRMVIT has the biggest campus in Bangalore.Campus -
-For one you will never feel cooped up.
-There are loads of open spaces with full sized football and cricket grounds and courts for other games like tennis, volleyball etc.
-Hostels are big and spacious, although you will not be allotted a single room.
-There is an indoor badminton court (1 wood and 1 stone) with a gym on top and carrom and chess and table tennis areas attached.
-Its a little far from the main Bangalore City but i feel that is actually a blessing in disguise. Anyways you do have good BMTC and Airport Cabs connectivity.
-One BMTC bus 283A i believe actually passes through the campus goes till Market.
There are hotels all around with all types of major cuisines and reasonable rates to help you out when you get bored of mess food. (namely Bhagwati, Raja Ram, Sher-e-punjab, Ambresh, GV etc…) and yes there is some unofficial deliveries to hostels as late at 2am ;)
There is a CCD closeby, also Bhagini and a Decathlon !
Due to close proximity to Yelahanka Airforce Base you get to watch Aero India show for free. All world class fighter jet air crafts assemble there and the show lasts a week. It is so good that from Boys Hostel terrace you can actually see the pilot sitting in the cockpit waving to you as he flies circles over you.
Clubs -
MVIT has established clubs like GAP (theatre, they do a production every year) . LEO (debates and public speaking) along with a jam room and innumerable tech groups.
Nearby Attractions -
NH7 weekender Bangalore venue is closeby, also many World Famous DJs come to perform in nearby locations.
Nandi Hills and Skandagiri is always closeby for an early morning ride or a trek respectively!
Placements -
There is a saying in MVIT and it goes like this ::
“agar MVIT me ho to placement pacca hai,
agar placement nhi chahiye to mehnat karni padegi”
Translation : If you’re studying in MVIT you will definitely land a job, in fact you have to work hard for not getting a job.
Placement officer Mr Khan is the most sought after guy in Bangalore. There was a rumor once that MSRIT tried to poach him but our trustees out bid them.
Although the majority of placements are in IT companies only, irrespective of branch so keep that in mind. Very few core companies (non IT) visit and they take the best of the best only.
Fests -
Every department has there own fests.
Apart from that there is an intra-collegiate fest (all branches) as well as the inter-college fest.
There are both technical and cultural events and you can choose what to participate in.
In which collage in bangalore can i get the maximum numbers of girls in mvit or in nitte meenakshi?
