Admission Process 2021
To get an admission to B.Tech offered by the Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), students need to appear for the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), which will be held in the last week of April. They also need to appear for the state-level counselling - Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), which will be held in the month of June. To appear for M.Tech candidates need to appear for the AP PGCET which will be held in the first week of May. To appear for an MBA and MCA the candidates need to appear for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET), which will be held in the last week of April. The brief admission process for all the courses offered by SVCE is given below.
For B.Tech:
The candidates need to appear for AP EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada.
Engineering Diploma holders, based on their merit at ECET (FDH), are admitted into Lateral Entry ( B. Tech-II year courses)
The admission for first-year engineering degree courses is done through the counselling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
To become eligible for APSCHE the candidates need to register their application online. They can visit the website of the AP EAMCET and complete the admission process.
- In counselling, they have to give first preference to their desired college.
Candidates have to do the document verification at designated centres.
Candidates will be shortlisted for APSCHE rounds based on their score in the entrance exam and preferences given by them for courses and colleges.
The seat will be allotted to the candidates as per the counselling round I, II and III.
Finally, candidates have to report to the allotted institute and complete the admission process within scheduled dates.
For M.Tech.:
M.Tech admission is made based on merit in the GATE/AP PGCET score.
Candidates have to register for counselling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

UG (B.Tech) admissions conducted through the common entrance test (EAMCET) by the Andhra Pradesh state government. While 70% of the seats allotted are based on merit in EAMCET, 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management Quota. In addition, the Engineering Diploma holders, based on their merit at ECET (FDH), are admitted into Lateral Entry (II year B. Tech Courses) to the tune of 20% of the total intake.
