Different states have different domicile requirements. But generally you do need to pass your 10th and 12th examination from a particular state to obtain a domicile of that state. Along with that you might need some residential proof and you must be living in that state for 7 years or so but as I said it is a variable number. But just a degree isn't enough for a domicile of that particular state.

In  your post graduation application form you have to fill the form in the format prescribed in the guidelines of that the particular university. It varies from university to university. You will have the name blocks or columns accordingly. Just follow the steps written in the brochure of your university that you want to pursue your post graduation from.

Yes, you can basically go for PG after completing a BSc degree, it is the most probably sought action after completing this degree. You can go for Masters for post graduation after you complete your BSc in Chemistry. You can write JAM or TIFR GS exam for MSc or integrated PhD from top institutions like IITs, IISc, NISER,IISERs, TIFR, etc.  If you want to do Masters(i.e MSc) in your field only(i.e in chemistry), then you can opt for these:-

• MSc in chemistry
• MSc in Drug Chemistry
• MSc in Biochemistry
• MSc in Pharmaceutical chemistry
• MSc in organic chemistry
• MSc in physical and materials chemistry
• Msc in Analytical chemistry
• MSc. Forensic Science
• MSc Bioorganic chemistry
• MSc Laboratory technology
• Msc. Nutrition and Dietetics

Otherwise, you can go for a post graduate diploma in analytical chemistry(i.e PGDAC).

After completing any one of the above courses, you can look for for jobs in chemical industries, pharmaceutical companies, industrial units, petrochemical companies, etc.

You can always change your directions after you graduate. You can go for post graduate courses like MBA, and MCA also which will open up other career options.

Yes DU colleges too have PG quota of their own for DU colleges. But VMMC (IPU) has substantial PG quota which is 50% of total PG seats under IPU University.
Choosing one college between MAMC and VMMC is your own decision.
As per NIRF ranking( government institution for tanking of colleges) VMMC surpassed MAMC this year itself.

Hi Hitesh, sorry to tell you that, your makes is not enough to get seat in the cucet Karnataka or Kerala in the pg physics. To get set seat in physics the cutoff marks is around 28 to 32.03 for the OBC candidates. You can try for the other fields with your marks in cucat. Don't loss hope.

Please consider the following carefully:

• For admission to any post graduate courses, the state quota/home state is your state from which you have completed your MBBS/any undergraduate degree.
• For admission to any undergraduate course, the home state/state quota will be availed of the state from which 10+2 is done or you have permanent residence proof of that state.

No state can decline it until any further notice from the central or state authorities.

First of all congratulations on your results. Since you have got a good rank and also have a plus point of reservation category , there cut off is 15233 but unfortunately you cannot get course in biotechnology there.
