I am 3rd year ECE student in Thangavelu Engineering College, Chennai. College has decent infrastructure with adequate classrooms and labs. Lab equipments are usable but some need updates for latest tech. Campus is average, not very big but clean. There are good study areas and library with enough books for our subjects.

Teachers are helpful but sometime explanations are fast, so I need to revise more by myself. Syllabus is bit tough but manageable with regular practice. Practical sessions give good understanding of theories taught. College organizes workshops and seminars sometimes which helps to gain more knowledge out of syllabus.

Placement support is available but mostly for IT jobs and software companies. Electronics and communication core companies had fewer visits. Placement training helps in improving communication and technical skills

Campus life is good with active student clubs and technical events along with cultural fests.

College building is old style but clean class have table chair and board. lab for power electronics ok only have kits and motor library have book but not always open canteen small food so. wifi not work everywhere

teacher know subject some speak fast subject like control system drive inverter teach with diagram project guide help little. class regular but some time cancel lab work little useful but old equipment use.

Placement very less for ME student. mostly IT company come not core core company not come much one two student get job. many student go write exam or try other job placement cell try but not big help for the students.

fees is medium not cheap not high lab and class ok for that money some say not worth full fess if learn more self then maybe ok

campus small but peaceful function happen one time a year friends make fun teacher strict little not much club college bus come on time

Our college has a decent infrastructure with well equipped classrooms and laboratories, auditorium, separate av room, seperate seminar hall and a big playground. Our college campus is shared by tj institute of technology and davinci school of design and Architecture. Restrooms and water facilities are kept each and every floor. Our college is affiliated to anna university and follows the curriculam of anna university. Three exams are conducted before university exams. The teaching of the staffs are very good and they are also friendly. Important questions and question bank are given to students so that it is easy for one to get prepared. Seperate av room for showing the latest Technologies. Good coaching provided. Weekly once pet peroid also available. Students are also given library for book references. Overall is gud

Placements are often given by our college. Many bpo companies and some mnc companies are often visited our college campus. Placement training are given from 1st year to final year. Mock interview are also given so it is easy for one to face the interview. Placement training staffs are very kind and polite and they help each and every candidates for attending the interview. Offers are between 1lkh to 4 lkh approximately. Good placement record in 2017 and after that it is not up to the mark& still

I joined my college in 2013 and my fees structure is tuition fees 60k/ year without bus and food. Yeah from my point of view it is a good above average college where our money is definitely worth. After completing four years in the campus one can definitely gain knowledge and placement. The main reason for money value is good academics, friendly staffs and co curricular activities. Students are given required freedom and not so much that strict. Also it is a 25 year old prestigious institution.

We had a good campus life. Many co curricular activities like symposium, independence day, soil day, green day, culturals are celebrated every year. Staffs are student friendly and they help each and every candidates for their career enhancement. The only worst thing in our college is maintainance of restrooms and drinking water are not good . Delnet wifi campus and a big library. Yearly once yoga day also celebrated for student's sake. Overall we had the good and enjoyable college campus life .

Overall from the above it is a good college within the Chennai city and the nearest is landmark Chennai thiruvanmiyur railway station. It is a 25 year old expirienced institution . It is in on road with nearest bus stop is okkiyampet and TCS karapakkam. Physical education are provided to students and sports are also literally concentrated. Good infrastructure and placements . Also friendly management which is not much that strict. I have completed mechanical and had good expirience in my college
