Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Warangal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Central Library at Vaagdevi College of Engineering is an abode of knowledge with unlimited resources for faculty & students to study. We have introduced the CAMS software developed locally, customizing it suitably to meet the needs of the library from the year 2016-17, which has been successfully utilized by the clientele. The software has been developed using the ASP.NET version. As far as automation is concerned, we could do it partially, and efforts are on to fully automate the library. up till 2015-2016, the library was maintained manually. We also established a digital library in 2013 with adequate systems in a separate hall to provide access to Internet E-Resources. Later during 2017-2018, we extended the automated services to the Circulation Section successfully and developed an OPAC for the users.

The college has a Basketball Court, Cricket Ground, Football Field, Kabaddi Court, throwball court, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Lawn Tennis Court, kho-kho court, Handball Court, Carrom Boards, and Table Tennis Boards.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students.

The College has a huge auditorium for hosting events, performance and exhibition spaces for creative students, and seminar and tutorial rooms across the campus. 

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has comfortable hostel facilities on campus and off-campus for Boys. These facilities are limited at present and hence allocated on first cum first-served basis. The total capacity for Boys is 100. Management has plans to expand its capacity in the coming years. The Facilities have both A/C and Non-A/C with an attached bath and some common baths.
