With 95.92 percentile your rank would be around 50k hence with this rank you can not get IT at vit pune, because the cut rank for it is 22518 for general category.
Atvyour rank you can get other branches like chemical engineering as its cutboff is 58760.

see most of the institute does not allow admission in middle of any course, but some times migration is possible if the two colleges is affiliated by same university.
G H Raisoni college of engineering and management pune and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune both are affiliated by pune university. I suggest you to directly contact with the college authority for the possibility of admission .

There is no lateral entry for Bachelor Engineering Degrees in MIT Chennai as it is under Anna University so they follow one rule.
Yes, VIT-Pune accepts lateral entry for the Btech course. Depending on your Diploma marks, you will get admission
VIT Pune is one of the top private engineering colleges in Maharashtra and thus, has a decent cutoff. So cutoff for branches like CSE and IT will go as high as 153-160 and above only. The exact cutoffs obviously can't be predicted as they depend on various factors like number of competitors, the paper difficulty, etc. But try to score maximum marks ie around 165 and above only to secure your seat in that particular college. Cutoff for mechanical branch previous year was 148 marks. Electronic engineering had cutoff around 137 marks. CSE and Mechanicak Engineering 2nd shift cutoff goes a little less compared to first shift cutoff.
