Hello Rafe Ahmed,

VIT Pune is a private institute located in Bibwewadi, Pune. It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. It offers 9 Undergraduates, 8 postgraduates, and 6 Ph.D. programmes. Admission to a certain course is based on the entrance exam like JEE Mains/MHTCET(B. Tech), GATE/MHTCET(M. Tech), MAH MCA CET(MCA). The total course fee for BE Mechanical Engineering is INR 4,90,000.

Best wishes.

Hi,

When VIT Pune was given autonomy, the seats that were increased were called off the second shift. There is no particular difference between anything, just timings may be different. There is no discrimination on the basis of professors. No one faces any problem and all the teachers are present for you if you need help irrespective of shift.

I hope I was able to clear your query

thank You

Hello Renuka,

So there are 2 answers for this question as you have not mentioned about which VIT, VIT VELLORE or VIT PUNE. So if you are taking about VIT VELLORE then you can't take admission on the basis of your state rank as they take admission through VITEEE rank.

Now talking about VIT PUNE, so first of all congratulation for performing well in your MHT CET 2019. 2371 is a really good rank. So with this rank you can definitely get into EEE, ECE, Instrumentation Engineering and MECHANICAL. Getting CSE will be close to impossible so try for EEE or ECE in 2nd round.

I hope you will find my answer helpful.

All the best.

It is depend on your branch. if you  to choose cs or it then go for DY PATIL AKURDI

Dear Aspirant,

The main differences between Walchand College of Engineering and Vishwakarma Institute of Technology are:

  • Ranking of WCE is higher than VIT
  • Course Fees of WCE is lower than VIT

So based on the above differences, I think WCW is a better college as compared to VIT

Good luck!
