Taking into account your rank and assuming that you are a general category candidate, it will be very difficult for you to get any branch at BIT Mesra, I would recommend you to look for some other college.

As far as reputation of NITs are concerned, NIT Silchar has a higher reputation as compared to NIT Puducherry or NIT Srinagar for that matter.

Also if you want an NIT tag, then BIT Mesra doesn't provide you that plus it's reputation is declining as well.

As i see you have 19395 rank in jee mains , which is a average rank. And you belong to EWS category which comes under general category , so you have a good chance of getting BIT MESRA in any branch except CSE. you will get all the branches,
