Hello,

Between CU(Chandigarh University) and PEC (Punjab Engineering College), I suggest you to go with PEC, because this college provides 7LPA for BE/B.Tech compared to CU. PEC Chandigarh has good infrastructure. There is a new building block, some new labs, new classrooms with air conditioning and new offices. There is unrestrcited  Wi-Fi all over the school. There is a new and modernized library. A 100-computer  cluster for students has been installed in the computer centre.Members of the faculty are very nice and supportive. They are highly trained and have in-depth knowledge of their subject matter. Nearly all of them have M.Tech or PhD degrees from reputed Indian colleges such as IITs, NITs, PEC etc.The curriculum of the course is well designed and almost identical with that of the IITs.It is planned in the light of the need for industry today.Placements at PEC Chandigarh are excellent.Every year more than 90% of the students are  getting placed. Packages offered for salaries are fine. Last year, Microsoft's average compensation package offered is 42 LPA. For 2017 series, the average compensation package offered is 9.12 LPA.Big recruiters include Apple, Amazon, Samsung, Arcesium, Jp Morgan, Texas, Maruti, Honda and several more. To add on, PECfest is one of North India's biggest festivals and draws a huge crowd. It's a PEC techno-cultural festival, and the 3 days of PECfest are the most enjoyable days of college life. The PECfest 's star night performers are famous celebrities such as Farhan Akhtar, Sukhwinder Singh, Amit Trivedi, Guru Randhawa etc. It is good to PEC over CU.

see Chandigarh University (CU) established by the Punjab State Legislature in 2012. the university is affiliated  'A+' Grade by the NAAC in the first cycle of the accreditation process. The University is approved by the UGC and the AICTE. now coming to the undergraduate course, bachelor of technology is most soughted course among the others courses like bsc, mba etc. college has excellent infrastructure and decent students faculty ration. placement is excellent as per the previous years records. Many popular and big companies visit our college for recruitment such as Google, Microsoft, etc. Every student is well prepared by the faculty members.  I would recommend to go for cse course since the major recruiters are from IT mncs.

Hi Ketan,

The coordination number is the number of ligands attached to the central ion . It is usually between two and nine. Though it may rise as much as sixteen. The term was originally defined in 1893 by Swiss chemist Alfred Werner.

To calculate the coordination number of a compound , we see the constituents in the coordination sphere or the square bracket and emitting the outer atom or atoms.

In the compound which you have mentioned the coordination number of Cu is four.

Hope you understand.

Hello,

Chandigarh University offers three types of integrated law program in its campus which are as follows:

  • BBA-LLB
  • BA-LLB
  • BCom-LLB

Eligibility Criteria for the integrated law program is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% aggregate, in case of SC/ST it's 40%. You may visit the official website at https://www.cuchd.in/legal-studies/ to know more details regarding this.

Hey!

Law is not the core branch for both the colleges. But According to the reviews, university of Calcutta provides more opportunities to students as compared to the Chandigarh university. Salary package of students may vary between 2.5-5 lakhs per annum and the job profiles offered are mainly assistent researchers and associates. However, students have their own plans for higher studies, but the placement opportunities in PSUs are good in university of Calcutta.

Thank you

Dear Student,

These two colleges are very good as per it's record. But in my opinion, PEC is better than Chandigarh University. Not only for b.tech this is better for any other b.tech courses too. There are some reasons too for this.

Reasons:

  • Strong Alumini and it is also 100 years old college that's why it gives a valuable degree.
  • Very good Placement.
  • Well qualified faculty
  • Top students get admitted there so the environment is too much good.
  • Infrastructure is one a best.

Thank You.
