Hey Aspirant,

Every branch is good in their own way. It just the matter of interest but if you seriously want to change your branch then you can go for computer science and engineering as today everything is about software development and programming and the market is hot there so there are various opportunities there as people from all branches learn coding just to get into some IT company so there is a option. So just do some research about the branch and then decide.

Hope this helps.

All the best and Thank you!

Hello aspirant!!!

You have got a very good percentile in hee mains examination. You might be getting your preferred course in your preferred college if you belong to Sc or ST since you belong to general catogory you will not be getting into that college.  Though you get into nit you may not be getting your dream course.

Both Pondicherry University and NIT Jalamdhat are good but when compared to Pondicherry University, NIT Jalandhar would be great to join for higher studies. All the faculties are extremely talented and experienced. Placements are pretty good here. Companies like Mu Sigma, TCS hire MSc Mathematics graduates under various job roles like Statistician, Quantitative Risk Analyst, Business Analyst etc. NIT Jalandhar has received 74th rank in universities by Careers360. College Infrastructure

NIT Jalandhar has good infrastructure with well-developed labs and classrooms. There are three hostels for first-year students: BH1, BH2, and BH5. BH1 and BH2 are better than BH5 because the food and facilities are much better in BH1 and BH2, but BH1 and BH2 are four-seater, while BH5 is a two-seater.
