If you want to fo Mba from IP university, then you have to give CAT exam.

So, giving cat exam is necessary, without giving cat exam you cannot get admission in ip university for management course.

According to the information brochure for 2020-22
Ipu will take admission on the basis of CAT, 2019 scores, and the candidates will be called for counselling. In case of vacant seats, CMAT 2020 will be considered and then finally IPU CET MBA 2020 scores will be considered to provide admission to eligible candidates.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasth University offers Bachelors in Business Administration without having Mathematics in class 12. Mathematics is not compulsory subject in GGSIPU.Candidates need to have passed 50% aggregate marks in total from a recognized board. Candidates are admitted into the course via IPU CET.

I would suggest you to go for A grade college in which placement is good , and excellent academics infrastructure, students and faculty ratio is decent, . see college plays a vital role for your upcoming future. I think its more important to choose a excellent college for better career prospect. however if the  distance of the college is much, try to take hostel or mess. but choose the college based on best students reviews.

Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) once a year. This exam enables the students admission into GGSIPU and it's Affiliated Colleges!

It is conducted for various Undergraduate Courses. For B.Tech. the students have to write IPU CET and secure a decent Rank to get admission in this Univeristy!
