The hostel fees, institute fees and all other misc fee details are published by the college in the form of a PDF file on 5th august 2020.
1. Admission Fee rs.500
2. Students Activity Fee rs.500
3. Infrastructure maintenance fee rs.2,500
4. Examination Fee rs.1,000
5. Tuition Fee (Fully waived for SC/ST/PwD students) rs.15,000

The total hostel fees payable at the time of admission is rs.4000 and total mess fees payable at the time of admission is rs.25500.

According to 2019 data and stats In IIEST total around 90 companies visited and 462 UG students get placed (From all streams).

Some top companies like IBM , Microsoft , ITC limited , Tata , Google e.t.c.

So, Median package is around 6.50 lakhs . Average salary offered 4.5 LPA .

All the NITs are not the same and I can assure you IIEST is the better choice if you put NIT agartala into consideration. It has a NIRF ranking of 21, all over West Bengal. The professors are amazing; although the course curriculums are pretty much the same in both the colleges. Keep the distance in mind too. The placement is undoubtedly the best, almost 98% students are placed every year (it's IIEST of course!) so you should try giving it a shot!
