Hello,

By applying for the application through your NEET ranking, you can get into IISc Bangalore via NEET too. They are asking you to get 60 percent marks to qualify for the interview. But I recommend aiming to score 70-80% as they combine the NEET score with the other interview score to be on the side of the wall. A score higher than 600 is good enough if you belong to the general group.

Hi
If you are interested in studying neuroscience after 12th then you should opt for Bsc in neuroscience.
There are many institutions which offer bsc in neuroscience, some of them are-
IIT Gandhinagar
Jiwaji University, Gwalior
Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc), Bangalore.
Madras University offers an MSc in Neuroscience, Chennai.
National Brain Research Centre (NBRC), Haryana.
NIMHANS, Bangalore.
If you wish to pursue neuroscience after taking admission in MBBS then you can do so after your graduation. For this you have to clear NEET to take further steps.
Many foreign countries offer research options for the students who are interested in neuroscience.
Neuroscience is a vast and intersting subject and it has a great scope in future.
Best of luck

Dear student,
Definitely the msc biotechnology students get a stipend at iisc and iit's. Courses like MSC., M.Com and MBA receive Rs 10,000 per month as stipend. The M. Tech degree holders, on the other hands, are awarded a stipend Rs 2000 more in the iit's.
You can visit this link for more info on fee structure and stipend at iisc:

Hi.

Cutoff rank for IISC through JEE Main in OBC Category was 20,000 in Spot round 2 in 2019.

In 2020 currently, it is 12000 in Spot Round 1 for OBC.

Now percentile approximation is not accurate as it is effected by many factors, but roughly you can get 20000 rank at 93 percentile so it is better to get above 94 percentile to ensure your admission.

Best of Luck

IISc is generally considered to be a better research institute than any the IITs by most engineering graduates.

However the bachelor's degree at the top IITs beats out it's corresponding course at IISc. From a purely financial stand point, the IITs are a better bet for students to become financially secure.

IISc was set up to promote science and research and it has been able to produce the goods just as well.

Respected ma'am,

Although 10 CGPA is considered equivalent to 95% only and I don't think much trouble would be caused. Still in the case you mentioned above you can write a mail or make a call to the responsible authorities and get the error rectified. This the link where you can find the contact information of administrative authorities - https://www.iisc.ac.in/about/administration/administrative-units (https://www.iisc.ac.in/about/administration/administrative-units/) and the contact number is - +91 80 2293 2228

Also, you can login into the site and check if the option for editing the form is available or not.

Else if, time and situation permits please try to re- register your child (if possible delete the previous registration).

Hope this helps
