Hey!

Well as per previous years records, if you score around 200-300 rank in jee mains (general category) then you can get admission in iisc means around 99.96 percentile. But if you are from reserved category then you might have chances to get admission in to iisc. But don't worry, you can get admission in some of the good NITs with your desired branch such as nit patna, nit meghalaya, nit Assam, nit Durgapur, nit Mizoram etc.

Good Luck !

Hello Shanur,

The admission depends on which course you want to opt for. If you want to do Integrated PhD program, then you have to have a valid JAM score according to the requirements of IISC Bangalore. But, if you wish to join research or M,tech course, then you got to do MSc and then answer GATE  in order to apply in IISC.

'For more information, you can visit the official website of IISC Bamgalore.

Good luck and stay safe!

Dear student,
Don't regret that you have got less score in jee mains. Less score depends on various factors, like fear of giving exam at the centre, the high peer pressure, continuously thinking what happens if i get less marks ? what will i do ? what will my parents say?
And also you will get less score if you have not studied well. On the other hand it may happens that you have studied well but not practiced much questions so your confidence level will get low and you will get low score or marks.
And never give up, give the jee advanced exam with full confidence and just be normal and think yourself as a pro. Never lose hope. If you are thinking about iisc then dedicate you while body, mind, soul for iisc. Because what's done is done and your cannot change you past, but you been change your future with your own hands with dedication, with hard work and never think that you can not do.
Every man or woman on this earth can achieve any thing in their life if they want to.
Also, you must give jee advanced exam without any fear or pressure.

Hey there

You have cleared the cutoffs of jee mains but in order to get admissions into IISC the marks required is quite high so you have very less chances for IISC. You may get other engineering colleges such as lower NITs or IIITs.
