Hello aspirant,

Through KVPY/JEE exam, by the end of April IISc receives all the applications. Then with ranks in KVPY limiting a particular cutoff rank, offers are sent to the candidates. Offers are also sent to the candidates via JEE-MAIN, JEE ADVANCED and NEET exam. Still if any seats are left to be filled up, then there may be a spot admission round and in this process, there is no cutoff limit. So these are the admission procedures of getting into IISc Bengaluru after clearing KVPY SA.

Good Luck! Hope, you get the answer.

I assume you are asking about iisc bangalore ug courses. see you may go for 5 years integrated bs-ms courses by clearing jee main exam/ scb channel. kvpy course. basically iisc is a research Institute, so ug candidates mostly opts for masters or phd courses after completing the graduation or Integrated course. however ug placement is not very lucrative, based on the area of subjects students placed in mncs, salary ranges from 5-6 lpa based on the companies recruitment.

hope you may understand.

Hello aspirant, hope you are doing good.

Now, coming to your question , you can definitely get into IISC Bangalore through JEE Mains rank. Infact there are three ways through which you can get into IISC Bangalore - JEE Mains, JEE advance, KVPY, NEET. The university doesn't conduct it's own examination, so these are the only ways to get in. The cutoffs are really high as well, because the competition is very tough.

Hello aspirant,
IISC takes admission on the basis of score of jee main , jee advance and KVPY entrance test .
Qualifying JEE mains only will not be enough.
If you are from general category you need to secure rank under 300 to get admission there.

Hope it will helpful

Thanks

Actually it is required that your rank must qualify the cut off rank list of iisc bangalore then only you are eligible to get admission in it. So you check your rank with opening and closing rank admission of iisc banglore and if it comes under those ranks then you are eligible otherwise you are not.

Hi there,

To get admission in such top college through jee advance your rank must be under 15k for gen-ews category. If you could score such rank then you would get a seat at these colleges with ease.

I hope this help

Hello student,

The applications haven't been closed for KVPY exam you can still apply for that exam and write the exam , qualify to get a seat in IISc Banglore. The applications are open till 19th october. The other entrances which IISc Banglore accepts is JEE Mains, JEE Advanced and NEET for undergraduation courses. The date of the examination is 31st January 2021, that means you still have 4 months to prepare if you are considering to take a drop. if you are confident and very much determined to get into IISc only then consider taking a drop or else you will loase 1 yr of your career.

for more details please use the following site

http://www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in/main/index.htm

IISER HAVE 3 CHANNELS FOR ADMISSION THAT IS JEE ADVANCED, KVPY AND, SCB. So you cannot get into a IISER with this percentile if you have not performed well in JEE Advanced.

For IISC, the cutoffs are higher than what you are getting so there is a very less probability that you will get into IISC too.

All the Best for future.

College Infrastructure

Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.
