The authorities offer admission to Bachelor of Science degree in iisc based on the merit of candidates in JEE Main, JEE Advanced and KVPY.The candidates who have passed their class 12th examination are eligible to apply for the admission.Based on the cutoff of JEE Main, JEE Advanced and KVPY, admission will be offered to the candidates .Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying exam as the compulsory subjects. Candidates who have studied Biology, Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc. in the qualifying examination will also be eligible to apply. It's very difficult to get seat in IISC with this rank based on previous years cutoffs. The cutoffs may differ from year to year. But it's very difficult to get seat in IISC but give a try. Also apply for other colleges because they will consider candidates All over India.

You will have good chance if you will be able score 95 percentile if you want admission in IISc, having said that your rank must less than 50.

To be eligible for IITs.A candidate must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.
Must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination.

So , Candidates appearing for improvement in Board examinations can either appear in one or more subjects and secure 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC, ST and PwD) after improvement, OR, appear for improvement in ALL subjects to be in top 20 percentile of the corresponding academic year.
