Hello,
If you have cleared your 12th in the year 2018/2019 or appearing this year then yes you can appear for JEE Mains.
So check the eligibilty criteria for that.
for taking an admission at IISc you have to clear JEE Advance. Using jee main you can go for NITs,GFITS. or other state government or private colleges.
It totally depends on how you score in both the jee exams.
Hope it helps!
Hello Bharthi,
As per the records there was no such age limit for the jee main examination so you can participate in the jee main 2020 examination and also the IIsc has age limit for 28 years for PhD purpose . And they didn't mentioned about the others graduation
All the best
Hi,
There is no such age limit assigned for iisc BS examination though they will allot students based on their scores obtained in JEE Main, JEE Advanced and KVPY examinations for which there might specific age criteria.
You can check about IISc from the link below

Hi,
The eligibility criteria for pursuing bachelor of science in IISC requires candidates to pass their 10+2 level in that year or the previous year. Also students appearing in class 12 boards whose result is not declared yet can also apply. They should also secure 60% marks from science stream with PCM. Students who have studied biology, electronics, statistics, computer science etc. alongwith PCM are also eligible.
As such there is no number of attempts stated by IISc.
Hi Dinkar,
Please mention about the course you are looking for. The eligibility is different for different courses in undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You need to pass certain examinations like JEE, GATE, KVPY etc. Ideally, it does not matter whether you are a dropout as long as you fulfil all eligibility conditions and the qualifying examinations. You need to have a really good score though to get into this reputed institution.
All the best.
I have 5.85 CGPA in my B.E.
UG Program
IISc offers a four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) program wherein the students study all the specializations (i.e. Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Materials, Earth and Environmental Sciences as well as Humanities and Engineering) in the first three semesters. Thereafter, the students can exercise a choice to pursue a course of their liking. Students who have cleared their 12th Standard board exam (or its equivalent) in 2017 and those who have passed this examination in 2016 are eligible to apply for this program.
The selection to the B.Sc. program of IISc is based on the merit list of Kishore Vaigyanik Proashan Yojana (KVPY) examination , JEE-Main , JEE- Advanced , and NEET . There is a reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and Kashmiri-Migrant candidates.
Hii..
I want to tell you that there is not much good placements for under graduation in Geology course at IISC Bangalore. IISC is one of the most reputed colleges in India and the college inspire and support the students for higher studies and for the research work instead of placements and joining companies. And under graduation in geology is not such a professional course after which you can expect jobs.
My personal suggestion would be also to you that instead of thinking about the placements after your under graduation you should go for higher studies and research work.
Hope it helps.
Iisc is top ranked science institute IN INDIA. Iisc campus look very natural and have lots of trees and plants. Technical and scientific facilities are advanced level, and have best quality research instruments, and laboratory such as NMR, TEM, FESEM, CROSSMAN me helical testing microCT and duper computer facilities hostels, library and sports facilities also good
Colege infrastructure, facilities and equipments are of top notch . We also have smart classes Best in class Laboratories. And we also have gym and hostels . Only downside is that hostels dont have Wifi.
Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.
