hello candidate
iit bhu mechanical is better than iit dhanbad in case of exposure, location and alumni network.
It is also better in terms of crowd and campus infrastructure .
so if you have no particular inclination towards any branch than you should choose bhu otherwise if you want to study electrical branch then you should take ism
best of luck
Hello there. I feel sorry to say this but with that rank it seems impossible to secure any seat in IIT Roorkee or IIT BHU. But still if you have the luck you might get seat in some other IIT.
Hey!Suman
If you are interested in mechanical stream then you must go with IIT MANDI otherwise go WITH IIT BHU.Chemical stream is also good,it also has lot of scope. With chemical stream you can also look for PSUs.If you have interest in mechanical then opt it.
Ask if you have any query.
GOOD LUCK!
Hello,
It mostly depends on your interest levels.
Both th colleges have very good reputation when it comes to faculty, infrastructure, placements, etc.
But Iit Kanpur is better than iit bhu and bioengineering is relevant course from there.
You should choose according to your interest.
All the Best
Hello there
Placements of mechanical in IIT Varanasi BHU is generally good. Most of the students gets placed. If you truly want to learn its a nice place. The department is hardworking and helps students getting placed.
Almost all the students who participated in placement season gets placed. Max package: 22 lpa and average package: around 6 lpa.
Hope this information helps.
Good luck!
Hello,
Please note the fact that package or placement depends upon an individual's skills than just branch. So if you are confused between choosing IIT BHU Chemical and IIT Dhanbad Mechanical, look for your field of interest that whether you are more inclined towards mechanical engineering or chemical engineering. Placement of an individual depends upon personal skills, academic performance etc. Choose your branch wisely.
Hii Aspirant
Based on the cutoffs, branches you have mentioned and other prospectives, your preference should be as follows:
1)IIT Hyderabad(Mech)
2)IIT Bhubneshwar(Electrical)
3)IIT Indore(Electrical)
4)IIT Bhu(Mech)
5)IIT Dhanbad(Electrical)
This was just a suggestion and the final decision will be yours.
Please feel free to ask if you have any other queries
Thank You
The infra is I would say average only not too good and not too bad …it need to work on its infra they really need to work on that otherwise people would stop taking IIT BHU …most of the nits have better infra
Hostels: Separate hostels for boys and girls with amenities like laundry, dining halls, and medical centers Labs: Modernized laboratories for various subjects including chemistry, physics, and computer science Library: A well-equipped library with over 88,000 books, terminals for accessing databases, and more Sports facilities: A sports complex with a swimming pool, tennis courts, indoor squash courts, and more Auditorium: A large auditorium Canteen: A cafeteria Gym: Separate gyms for boys and girls
The infrastructure of this IIT needs to be improved as far as other IITS are concerned. We will find decent hostels situated on campus. It also has its own mess, which provides decent food. Classrooms are also well-equipped with modern facilities. Here, the library has very limited capacity so it needs to be expanded.
