Hello

I will give you agist of  the placements at both the places however I would request you to visist the campuses once to check things out for yourself (if possible).

SSGS IT- The placements here are not so good and TCS (mass recruiter) comes to pick up most of the candidates from IT. Off Campus placements are better (if you graduate from IT from SSGS). Highset salary offered in off campus placements can go to more than 15 lpa (depending on the skills developed).  All in all, the placements rae not so good and you will need to gain and polish new and leading skills.

ICT Mumbai (oil oleochemical and surfactant technology)- Some of the companies that visit the campus are Godrej, Kamaani, BASF, Mario, galaxy surfactants ,Adani, etc. Placements are better here with almost 100% placements and on campus average placement is around 4 lpa.

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know about whether you are eligible to take admission in ict mumbai considering your percentile and your state merit rank.

I would like to tell with your percentile and your rank , undoubtedly you will get a seat in ict mumbai.

hello,

Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) offers undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level courses to aspirants.

With Engineering and Sciences courses.

You need to score 50% in 10+2 in order to eligible for admission but relaxation is given to Maharashtra state students.

BChem and BTEch courses division is such that 70% seats are available for the state of Maharashtra and the remaining 30% are available for All India (all States and Union Territories including Maharashtra).

Here, 70% seats are filled on the basis of MH-CET merit and the remaining 30% seats are filled on the basis of JEE Main score.

For Bpharma course admission is done through state CET.

UG programmes is done on the basis of Central Admission Process (CAP) that is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).

Hi,

JEE Mains is one common examination held for ally he engineering colleges. JEE Mains is conducted separate for every Institute. If you are not eligible for JEE Mains, then their are many other state and university level entrance examination conducted for admission into engineering colleges.

Dear student,
Ict mumbai definitely takes outside state students. And you can apply through both jee mains and mht cet for ict mumbai. From the year 2016, admissions were done on the basis of both MHTCET and  JEE mains. 70% of the total seats were filled through  MHTCET and the remaining 30% were filled by JEE mains. A separate form needs to be filled for admission through JEE mains.

Hello,

Yes if you get admission in ICT it is very good as the college is very reputed and the placemnts, infrastructure and facilities is very nices.with 95.99 percentile you have a decent chance and can get a seat in the last rounds. You can also check the last year cutoffs for rough estimation.

Hello,

You have not mentioned your category assuming that you belong to general category considering the cut off in 2019 it is difficult to get seat in the college that you have mentioned. You need to score 99 or above percentile in MHT CET  to have chances of getting seat in the preferred colleges. To check the previous year cut off you can use the link below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff

Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc. If you belong to any other category then please mention it so that we can help you with the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat.

Hello!

VNIT have good overall ratings. They have good placement records but a bit inconsistent, average placement record is 60%. Top recruiting companies are Lupin, Godrej, Reliance, etc. Highest package offered is 22Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is around 3Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 5-6Lakhs per annum. They have good infrastructure and they provide students with good, qualified teaching faculties.

ICT have excellent overall ratings much better than VNIT. They have good and consistent placement records, average placement record is 99%. Top recruiting companies are Honeywell, Godrej, Reliance, etc. Highest package offered is 18Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is around 3.5Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 6-7Lakhs per annum. They have good infrastructure and they provide students with helpful, highly qualified teaching faculties.

ICT is the best option among the two.

ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was of some help.

Thank You

Dear student,

As my engineering branch is chemical engineering then I think that I am fit for giving the answer to your question.

Chemical engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with chemical production and the manufacture of products through chemical processes. This includes designing equipment, systems and processes for refining raw materials and for mixing, compounding and processing chemicals to make valuable products.

Chemical engineering is one of the most demanding and trending branch in India, and nowadays even more demanding than cse or mechanical engineering.

There is a huge and big job scopes of chemical engineering in India as well as in abroad countries.
In India some of the major companies that recruit chemical engineers are :-
BARC, BHEL, SAIL, IOCL, ONGC, CIL, GAIL, HPCL, etc. along with other 21 psus, which you can only get by cracking gate exam.
There is a common misconception that if you are a chemical engineer or doing chemical engineering then you have to always play with chemicals, do the reactions, etc. Many people think that there is risk in becoming a chemical engineer because all the time we have to deal with poisonous, and very dangerous chemicals, which is completely wrong.

The chemical engineers get many great and good jobs in petroleum sectors, oil refining sectors, etc. and your job is to just supervise, make equations and new process with help of computer.
The industrial manpower work will be done by sub part branch (chemical technology) candidates.
Also you will be having a great opportunity to work in an abroad industries. And for that you must have industrial knowledge. And this is only possible when you have studied your subject (or the core branch) chemical engineering.

In chemical engineering, we have to study about the techniques of designing instruments and we have to design equations so that the process runs smoothly. The chemical engineers find a way to increase the maximum output of the production by giving equation and process.

If you are a chemical engineer, then your brain will be used, your technical knowledge will be used not your manpower.
And also remember : you don't have to deal with chemicals all the time.

And there is a very great job scope and also with a very handsome pay scale.
Those who think that after doing chemical engineering the job scope is less then they are completely wrong. There is a huge and big job opportunities waiting for you if you pursue chemical engineering.

And ICT mumbai is famous specially for chemical engineering, so, getting a degree from ict mumbai is very good. And you can definitely pursue chemical engineering from this institute. So, according to me if you are getting ICT Mumbai then don't leave this opportunity and pursue your dream branch.
