Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that as per the universities rules and guidelines, it is not possible to switch from one college to another in any year. Still, you can contact the administration department of the college and seek help from them regarding this issue since it is a decision which can be taken by the concerned authorities of colleges.
I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
ICT Mumbai is one of the best technical Institutes in India at par with IIT Bombay and IISC Bangalore in fields of Chemical and Polymer Technlogy and Research. Department of Oil, Oleochemical and Surfactant Technology at ICT offers a B.Tech, M.Tech as well as a Ph.D full time program from Mumbai Campus. The curriculum of this branch is perhaps a derivative of Chemical and Polymer Science and extends to Plant and Animal Fat Technology, Surface Chemistry and Engineering, Research based on Emulsifiers, Paints, Wetting agents and so on. As far as placement prospects are concerned you can consider them comparatively bleak when compared to Chemical Engineering Branch, with few Top Companies like Reliance, Asian Paints, BASF and BPCL recruiting students of this department. However ICT Mumbai has an excellent culture of students preparing for GATE or GRE and moving to universities abroad or to higher technical institutes in India like Top IITs and IISC Bangalore for their Masters or Doctoral Education.

Hello
Both the institutes are good but as fra as placements are concerned ICT Bombay has better placements. In ICT Bombay the average placement salary offered is around 5 lakh per annum whereas no such public information is present for SGGS Nanded. The recruiting companies in ICT are Asian Paints, BASF India, Black & Veatch, Cipla, DSM SOFT, Evalueserve, Exxon ,Galaxy Surfactants, HONEYWELL . The companies who visit SGGS Nanded are L&T Infotech, SYNTEL ,Tata Motors and WELSPUN. I will advise you to contact any of the students already studying in both the institutes for a deeper insight on the placements.
The college has good facilities and infrastructure, providing a peaceful environment. The classrooms are neat and clean, and discipline is maintained. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and the labs have updated systems. The library has plenty of books for peaceful reading. Hostel facilities are good, with quality food and a canteen available for day scholars. They conduct sports and games activities, and we have separate periods for sports.
