Choosing amongst these two private universities shouldn’t be a difficult task. It is highly recommended to choose VIT over LPU owing to the NIRF Rankings. Moreover, the campus of VIT has a slight edge over LPU. Microsoft, this year, offered jobs worth 40 LPA to 8 students at VIT this year. VIT guarantees 100% placements as well.

In compare with both these, LPU stands better for your undergraduate B.Tech degree in ECE in comparison with IET Lucknow because LPU has many good collaborations with many industries as well it has good infrastructure for education as well placement too with good ranking in INDIA from NIRF and MHRD.

LPU admission to each course follows a specific admission criteria. LPUNEST is the official entrance (for BTech, MSc in agriculture and LLM) and scholarship exam (for all programmes) conducted by this University. The University also offers admission to students based on their academic performance for a majority of programmes. Eligible students need to register online for admission.

LPU offers a few admission relaxations to certain category students. The details are as follows:

• 5% relaxation for students from North-East states and Sikkim/ defence personnel and their dependents/ wards of Kashmiri migrants
• 10% relaxation for sports persons i.e. A/A+ category as per sports scholarship (subject to verification from selection committee of the University)
