Yeah LPU offers Automobile Engineering (Lateral entry) it's duration is 3 years 6 semesters .Eligibility is 60% pass in diploma any stream and admission based on the merit qualify examination . Fee based on the LPUNEST exam .

Dear candidate, in previous years, lpu cut off through jee mains was 80 percentile. I think it would be difficult at 74 percentile. They also conduct their own entrance exam called LPUNEST, try to give that or if you have good marks in boards, then maybe you get a seat in the last round of counselling. As per your choices given in the question it would be better if you choose CSE in LPU . There is not as such any difference in any two branches one is branch of the other.

But in terms of placements CSE has better placements in LPU than IT branch.

Candidates must adhere to the eligibility criteria given by the university for the candidates to apply for LPUNEST 2020.

Check the eligibility criteria from below:

• Must be an Indian National
• Candidates must have passed class 10+12 (with English) or are appearing in 2020 batch
• They should have passed the qualifying exam with at least 50% aggregate.

Hi aspirant, since you have 91 percentile in your JEE mains exam, so on the behalf of your JEE mains score you can confirm your seat in Lovely Professional University without any further problem. No, it is not possible to get direct admission in the btech programmes. You need to get either by lpu nest or by jee . So, i would suggest you to kindly give one of these examinations for the smooth process of admission.

You can avail scholarship for the b.tech programme depending on your scores that you have got in nest or in jee. There are categorised scholarships and if you come in that particular range you will be eligible for that amount of scholarship.
