Dear aspirant,
Definitely you can get immediate affirmation in Lpu.

As you are explicitly looking at building the main criteria for direct affirmation is that you more likely than not scored 90% or more in board test.

On the off chance that you have under 90%, at that point you need to show up for Lpu Nest and you should score above cutoff in that then no one but you can get Admission in Lpu.

As you have taken choice that you need to ponder in Lpu. I would propose that endeavor to get confirmation in this month just i.e may. You will get great grant.

Hey Satish,

By ‘free seat’, you mean 100% scholarship on tuition fee which is not available in Lovely Professional University if an extremely exceptional co-curricular person who has been awarded International medals. But such things are very unrealistic.

They tend to give 50% (maximum) scholarship to meritorious students and to be eligible for that much scholarship, you will have to score very high in the entrance examination.

According to the official website, the programme fee is of Rs. 90,000/- per semester. But there are various scholarships available, given on the basis of LPUNEST, GPAT, and Percentage in qualifying exam (Graduation)

DETAILS ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS

1)Scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST

LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category I cut-off (for 50% Scholarship)   - Rs.45000/-(i.e. 50% of Programme Fee)

LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category II cut-off (for 40% Scholarship)   -  Rs.36000/- (i.e. 40% of Programme Fee)

LPUNEST score more than or equal to Category III cut-off (for 30% Scholarship)  - Rs.27000/- (i.e. 30% of Programme Fee)

2) Scholarship on the basis of Percentage in the qualifying exam

90% or above aggregate marks in Graduation (for 50% Scholarship)   -   45000/-   (i.e. 50% of Programme Fee)

80% - 89.9% aggregate marks in Graduation (for 40% Scholarship)     - 36000/-      (i.e. 40% of Programme Fee)

70% - 79.9% aggregate marks in Graduation (for 30% Scholarship)     -    27000/-  (i.e. 30% of Programme Fee)

3) Scholarship on the basis of GPAT

GPAT Rank 1 - 1000 (for 50% Scholarship)        - 45000/- (i.e. 50% of Programme Fee)

GPAT Rank 1001 - 2000 (for 40% Scholarship)  - 36000/- (i.e. 40% of Programme Fee)

GPAT Rank 2001 - 5000 (for 30% Scholarship)  - 27000/- (i.e. 30% of Programme Fee)

4) Scholarship on the basis of Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular and Social Service      Bravery Awards

'A+' Grade

a) Full Tuition Fee waiver

b) Free Stay in Dormitory Residence (without attached washroom)

c) Free Food Facility (Standard Food)

Criteria to be eligible for the A+ category:-

-Represented India after approval of National Sports Federation and SAI/IOA in championship scheduled as part of the Annual International Sports Calendar.

-Participated as a member of the combined university team at International Level.

- First three position in Senior National championship.

Apart from this other scholarship is also available in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular and Social Service Bravery Awards category but they are again 50%, 40% or 30%.

Hence, you can see what do you need to have to be eligible for the scholarships.

I hope this information is useful to you. If you have any other doubt or query, feel free to ask.

Good luck!

Hello K Thirumalesh,

The exam pattern of LPUNEST is one factor that plays a crucial role in understanding the exam well. Candidates can know the type of questions to answer, the time they have to answer them, the marks they get for a correct answer.
Mark the important topics and prepare that well.

  • Select only a limited number books for preparation or reference purpose. This helps to avoid getting lost in the ocean of material available both online and offline.
  • Always make it a habit to note down the important topics under each subject and focus more on them than other topics.
  • Solve previous years question papers and mock tests. Solve them within the stipulated time to get accustomed to the exam environment.
  • Check the mistakes made in each test, analyze and rectify.  This allows students to resolve problems then and there and ensure that these are avoided on the exam day.
  • Timely revision is a must so every week, a time period has to be assigned for this. Follow this diligently.
  • Speed and accuracy on the day of the exam makes a huge difference so practice it while doing the mock tests.

If you will follow this you will definitely score good.

Hope it helped you

Thank you

Dear aspirant,

I understand your situation. You can try getting admissions based on your board exam marks, there are quite a few colleges which accept board and JEE mains mark as a combination.

1. SASTRA (Thanjavur) - If you have really good boards marks (>95 percentage) and a decent JEE Mains mark, you can try applying here.

2. PSG , Coimbator

3. SSN, Chennai

4. Thapar

You can look up these colleges' admission procedures and then proceed accordingly.

Your choice of college won't matter to a great extent if you motivated in your department of study and are willing to actively look for opportunities. Hence, don't worry too much about the reviews, go to a college and follow your passion.

Hope this helps
