Honestly, my experience with LPU’s infrastructure has been impressive. The classrooms are bright and comfortable, making it easy to focus on learning. The labs have all the equipment needed to practice what we study, and the library is quiet and helpful whenever I need to work on projects or research. The campus also has good spaces for sports and student activities, which makes it feel active and welcoming.
The courses at LPU give both practical and theoretical knowledge. The faculty explain concepts clearly and encourage hands-on learning through projects and labs. Assignments and workshops make it easier to see how what we study applies in real situations. The university’s Education Revolution initiative also adds extra support and innovative learning opportunities, helping students explore new ideas and skills. Overall, the academics feel balanced and prepare students well for future challenges.
From my experience, LPU gives students good placement opportunities. Companies from different sectors visit the campus, and roles and salaries vary depending on the job and profile. The placement team is supportive and helps students prepare for interviews and internships. Overall, it feels like a place where you get exposure to real job opportunities and guidance to step into the industry.
LPU feels fairly worth it for the opportunities it provides. The fees are on the higher side compared to some colleges, but the infrastructure, academics, placements, and extra initiatives like Education Revolution make it feel like a solid investment. Students get exposure to practical learning, industry connections, and campus life, which makes the experience feel valuable overall.
Campus life at LPU is lively and engaging. There are plenty of clubs, cultural events, and sports activities happening throughout the year. Participating in these events gives students a chance to explore interests, learn new skills, and meet people from different backgrounds. It makes the campus feel vibrant and adds a lot to the overall experience, helping students grow personally while learning new skills.
The college's infrastructure is impressive to behold, with well-equipped classrooms featuring Wi-Fi, projectors, and air conditioning, and a spacious library stocked with essential resources for every student. A shopping mall, multiple food courts, a gym and a swimming pool add convenience and recreation, while hostel rooms offer ample options and comfort. The mess though, could be better.
The academics reflect a capable faculty that is well trained and educated. While some classes feel engaging, others can be monotonous. The curriculum appears well updated, and the faculty emphasizes job readiness, providing training that aligns with industry demands.
Placements are promising for freshers, with many students securing strong roles. While I'm new, I've seen peers excel by putting in extra effort-projects, hackathons, internships and other activities seem to boost outcomes. Hard work plus practical experience appears to pay off.
Considering the fees, the college provides excellent facilities and ample opportunities
Campus life is vibrant with plenty to explore. It helps develop personal skills as you spend each day trying new activities and experiences.
Campus at a glance: impressive infrastructure with WIFI-enabled, well-equipped classroom, a large library. and convenient facilities. Academics show a capable, job-ready faculty. Placements look strong for driven students. value for money is solid, campus life vibrant with diverse activities.
The college boasts excellent infrastructure spread across a vast 700- acre campus. With endless spaces to explore, it offers outstanding facilities for sports, arts, and skill development, creating a vibrant environment for learning, creativity and overall growth.
The academics are strong with well-trained and skilled faculty who focus on making students job ready. Through hackathons, workshops and online courses, the college helps students develop practical skills and ensure placements for those willing to work hard.
The college ensures strong placement support for students who work hard and continuously develop their skills. many students secure high-level positions by actively participating in projects, internships and extra activities that build real-world experience.
The college offers excellent facilities, resources and exposure for the fees charged. There are plenty of opportunities for learning, skill development and growth, making it a smart choice for students looking for quality education on a budget.
Campus life is vibrant and engaging. The college hosts frequent music fests, events, hackathons, and workshops that keep the atmosphere lively. Faculty members are supportive and helpful, though the office staff can sometimes come across as rude.
Overall, my experience has been positive. The college provides good academics, supportive faculty, strong facilities and plenty of opportunities through events and activities. Campus life is lively, making it well-round place for both learning and personal growth.
As a student of Lovely Professional University, I can confidently say that the infrastructure is one of the strongest aspects of the university and has a direct positive impact on daily academic and campus life. The campus is extremely large and well planned. Initially, it takes some time to get used to the size, but once familiar, movement becomes smooth due to proper roads, signboards, and internal transport facilities. The academic blocks are modern and spacious, with smart classrooms that include projectors, digital boards, and comfortable seating, which makes learning more interactive. Laboratories are well equipped, especially for engineering and computer science courses. Most labs have updated systems, required software, and proper internet connectivity, which helps in practical learning and project work. The central library is another major highlight. It provides a quiet study environment, a wide collection of books, and access to digital resources and journals, which is very useful during exams and assignments. Hostel infrastructure is good and meets student needs. Rooms are decent, with options ranging from basic to premium accommodations. Facilities like Wi-Fi, laundry, common rooms, and regular maintenance make hostel life comfortable. Security is also strict, which ensures safety, especially at night. Sports and recreational infrastructure is excellent. The university has large playgrounds, indoor sports complexes, gyms, and stadiums that encourage students to actively participate in sports and fitness activities. Apart from academics, this helps maintain a balanced lifestyle. The campus also has strong support infrastructure such as a hospital, food courts, supermarkets, banks, ATMs, and stationery shops, making it almost self-sufficient. Internet connectivity across the campus is reliable, which is essential for online learning and research. Overall, based on my personal experience, the infrastructure at Lovely Professional University provides a professional and comfortable environment for students. It supports academic growth, skill development, and campus life effectively, making the learning experience better and more disciplined.
The academic system at LPU is well planned and follows a semester-based structure with continuous evaluation. Instead of depending only on end-semester exams, students are assessed through assignments, quizzes, presentations, mid-term exams, lab work, and projects, which helps in consistent learning throughout the semester. This also reduces last-minute exam pressure. The curriculum is regularly updated and aligned with current industry requirements. In courses like engineering, computer science, and management, there is a strong focus on practical knowledge, programming, case studies, and project-based learning rather than only theory. This approach helps students understand how concepts are applied in real-world scenarios. Faculty members are generally knowledgeable and supportive. Many professors explain concepts clearly and encourage students to ask questions during class. Extra help is often available through doubt-clearing sessions, mentoring hours, and online learning platforms. However, like in any large university, the teaching quality may vary from one faculty member to another. Attendance is taken seriously, which initially feels strict, but over time it helps maintain discipline and regular study habits. The university also provides learning management systems and online portals where students can access lecture materials, assignments, grades, and announcements, making academics more organized. Practical exposure is a strong point. Regular lab sessions, internal projects, hackathons, workshops, and guest lectures help students gain hands-on experience. Internship guidance and industry tie-ups further support skill development, especially for students who actively participate. Overall, from a student’s point of view, academics at Lovely Professional University require self-discipline and consistency. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments on time, and make use of available resources benefit the most. The academic environment encourages learning, skill building, and professional growth.
As a current student at Lovely Professional University, my understanding of placements is largely based on the experiences and outcomes of my seniors, interactions with faculty, and placement-related sessions conducted by the university. LPU has a dedicated placement and career development cell that actively works to bring companies from different sectors such as IT, core engineering, management, finance, and service industries. Every year, a large number of companies visit the campus, offering roles ranging from entry-level positions to specialized technical roles. From what seniors have shared, placements highly depend on individual effort. Students who maintain good academic performance, strong technical skills, and consistent practice in aptitude and communication tend to secure better offers. Seniors from computer science and IT-related branches who focused on programming, data structures, and internships were able to get placed in reputed companies with decent packages. The average package is moderate, but there are students who secure high-paying offers through strong skill sets, competitive coding, certifications, and projects. Mass recruiters offer stable opportunities for a large number of students, while higher packages usually require clearing multiple technical and interview rounds. The university provides placement training from early semesters, including aptitude preparation, mock interviews, resume building, and soft skills development. According to seniors, this training is helpful, but self-preparation alongside it is essential to stand out. Internships play a major role in placements. Seniors who completed internships during vacations or through university-supported programs found it easier to convert those experiences into full-time offers. The placement cell also shares regular updates, job notifications, and eligibility criteria, keeping students informed.
The fees at LPU may seem high at first, especially for engineering and professional courses, but when compared with the infrastructure, academic facilities, laboratories, library access, and campus resources, the cost feels more justified. The campus provides almost everything within one place, including hostels, medical facilities, sports complexes, libraries, and learning resources, which reduces the need for outside expenses. From a student’s point of view, the university offers multiple chances to recover the cost through skill development and placements. Seniors who actively participated in internships, projects, competitions, and certification programs were able to secure decent placements, making the return on investment reasonable. However, students who do not utilize these opportunities may feel that the fees are not fully worth it. Scholarships and fee concessions based on entrance exams, academics, or performance in university tests also help reduce the financial burden for many students. Additionally, the exposure to industry training, workshops, and placement preparation adds extra value that might otherwise require external coaching. Hostel and mess charges are moderate considering the facilities provided, though food quality and expenses can vary based on personal expectations. Overall living expenses on campus are manageable for most students. In conclusion, from my experience and observation of seniors, Lovely Professional University can be considered good value for money for students who are focused, disciplined, and career-oriented. The university provides a strong platform, but the actual value depends on how well a student takes advantage of it.
The campus has students from different parts of India and from several other countries, which creates a multicultural environment. Daily interactions with students from different backgrounds help in improving communication skills, adaptability, and confidence. This diversity makes campus life more engaging and broadens one’s perspective. There are regular events, fests, workshops, and competitions organized throughout the year. Cultural festivals, technical events, and sports meets give students opportunities to showcase their talents and take a break from academic pressure. Various student clubs and societies related to technology, culture, sports, and creativity allow students to explore their interests and develop leadership and teamwork skills. Hostel life is an important part of the campus experience. Staying in the hostel helps students become independent and build strong friendships. Facilities like common rooms, study areas, and open spaces encourage group discussions and social interaction. Security and discipline are maintained, which makes the campus feel safe at all times. Food courts and campus shops provide multiple options for meals and daily needs, making life convenient without having to go outside the campus frequently. Sports facilities, gyms, and playgrounds are easily accessible and encourage students to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
As a first-year B.Tech CSE student at Lovely Professional University, my experience has been positive and disciplined. The academic structure is well organized, faculty are supportive, and basic programming concepts are taught clearly. Campus resources, peer interaction, and exposure to workshops help in adapting to university life. The university provides good opportunities, but consistent self-effort is essential to make the most of them.
The campus is a vast area consisting more than 800 acres that I am aware of and they have utilized this area in the best way possible by having several food courts around every nook and corner of the campus which is very useful. The usage of sports complex and gym are also perfectly placed for hostel residence so that its an easy access. Everything is kept neatly and maintained well except for the river area where the waste gets dumped. Other than that everything else is top notch. The facilities of the class are such as the laboratories and the classrooms themselves are well maintained and are being utilized very well.
I have taken up Bachelors of Computer Application in AI & ML with IBM. The quality of teaching so far has been above average. In terms of pacing it has been going slowly but understanding and I think that depends on individual competence rather than quality of teaching. The teachers are good and patient to listen to the problems faced by the students and help them out accordingly. I don't think getting a degree itself will make you job-ready in today's job market but it helps to get a degree from one of the best private universities in India in my opinion due to their exposure with companies, it does give you a big push in terms of putting you as a frontrunner to get jobs.
I have been hearing about the amazing placement record of LPU for awhile and about the companies that takes the graduates from here. Personally I haven't any sort of experience as I am a fresher and haven't joined any sort of placement drives.
My course costs 3.2 Lakhs for an academic year excluding hostel charges and like I said a degree itself won't get you anywhere so as a student we have to get additional skillsets to have a chance in getting a good placement. For me I haven't personally thought of getting into placement drives because I also plan on getting my masters so as of now I really can't give an opinion with full conviction.
Campus life has been amazing so far and it will be amazing for every student who would like to utilize the opportunities provided by the university because there is something or the happening around the campus every single second whether it would be hackathons, Edm nights, cultural fests etc. Sports wise as well i think it would be a dream for every up and coming students who would like to pursue a career in sports because of the facilities that they university has to offer. Everything here makes me feel like I am at home even though I miss my home very deeply. The security level here is one of the reasons why the campus feels safe as they have thorough search for illegal substance or anything that is not permitted in the campus. Students from around the world are here so in terms of being exposed to different cultures and ethnicity i think there is no place like LPU.
The campus is truly amazing. It is spread across nearly 700 acres. WIFI is available everywhere but speed could be better. Classrooms come with projectors, CCTV and air conditioning. Hostels are welcoming, mess meals are wholesome with room to diversify. The gym is solid but could improve. Pools and many sport facilities invite exploration.
I'm pursuing B.Tech in CSE(AI & ML), and the faculty here are well trained and effective teachers. But hard work from students is essential too. The curriculum is up-to-date, reflecting recent developments, and the syllabus is regularly refreshed. The faculty at LPU go the extra mile to make us job ready and help with placements, combining strong instruction with practical preparation.
LPU emphasizes placement readiness for all students who actively develop their skills during their time here. The highest international placement package reported for Btech CSE is around 3 Crore rupees per annum, reflecting strong opportunities for top performers in multinational companies.
Students at LPU receive scholarships for the entire course based on their 112th marks, JEE/NEET scores, or LPUNEST results. When it comes to fees, LPU offers a range of opportunites and facilities that help develop both technical and non-technical skills, as well as academic abilities, making the investment worthwhile.
Campus life is vibrant and calm, with diverse clubs, regular music fests and many events. It's perfect for learning, socializing and exploring new interests. Supportive students and teachers shine, though a few staff may seem rude. Overall, the mix inspires growth and belonging.
LPU offers a large, vibrant campus with strong connectivity, modern classrooms and ample facilities. The academics are solid, with up-to-date curricula and dedicated faculty who aim to make students job-ready, though hard work from learners is essential. Scholarships and diverse opportunities support skill development, while placements show strong potential for top performers. Overall, it fosters curiosity, collaboration, and personal growth through active engagement.
LPU’s infrastructure feels more like a technology township than a typical university. High-end computer labs, innovation centers, libraries, and digital resources are easily accessible, making it convenient for MCA students to practice, experiment, and work on real-time projects without infrastructure limitations.
The academic structure emphasizes application over rote learning. Courses are designed to expose students to modern technologies, coding practices, and project work. Faculty support varies, but students who actively participate in labs, discussions, and additional certifications gain strong technical clarity.
Placements at LPU offer wide exposure rather than easy assurance. A large number of companies visit the campus, especially for IT and service-based roles. However, competition is intense, and MCA students who build strong coding skills, internships, and portfolios benefit the most.
LPU offers value through opportunities, not shortcuts. The fee justifies itself when students fully utilize campus resources, training programs, and industry exposure.
College life at LPU is energetic and diverse, with constant events, clubs, hackathons, and cultural activities. Interaction with students from different backgrounds adds to personal growth, while the busy campus environment prepares us for professional life beyond academics.
LPU felt like a platform of possibilities it provided scale, exposure, and resources.
1.Yes 2.All the facilities are well maintained and As for hostels, we find shops like tuck shops, laundry, and salons within the hostels. Libraries are open until 12 midnight, and we also have discussion rooms and study rooms.
1.I am doing Bachelor and Architecture because it is my interest. Quality of teaching is best. Issues with our teacher are also given attention. 2.Yes I think my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field
1. Yes 2.I don't know what percentage of students get placements. The highest placements are probably for students with CS. 3.I don't know what the average salary is offered. I don't know about placements yet.
I'm currently in 3rd of bachelors of Architecture. I am here to share my honest review about Lovely Professional University. In my 3 years of college experience, I must say , the campus is incredibly beautiful and about my hostel experience, Rooms are good and rooms are cleaned timely. We have system called rms where I can register any complaints either academics or repair work. It is done normally in 2 days. Here our all problems are generally solved on time. Coming to academics, Faculty are supportive and available to help us anytime, but sometimes, there is a issue like some faculties are new , so they don't have much experience, so they are unaware like how they can solve our issues . You have to be active on college apps for all information, otherwise you may missed any important updates.
The main issue I'm facing about academics, some faculty are new , don't have experience about teaching. Sometimes they neglect student problems.Sometimes we asked for reference, but they don't help us , like they told to search in libraries and on internet, we know it clearly that if we are facing any problem in how to make architectural sheets , so they should help us as architecture is something that we never study in our school times especially about construction details and drafting.
The college placement is high , in my course 90% of students are placed . Famous architecture firms that cone here are hafeez contractor, sanjay puri architects etc .if I choose placement option and submitted for placement fees, there is high chances that you are going to placed , rest confidence , consistency and how to present yourself in interview matters .
My fee for one semester is 1 lakh 20 thousand whole 1 year fee is 2 lakh 40 thousand, so I applied for scholarship exam that is lpunest where I got scholarship of 45% on my overall college fee , after that now my fee is 66000 per semester. With that I am spending 90,000 on my hostel room of 3 persons per year and 5,000 per year on laundry services.
Campus Life is good , you can get tasty and affordable food at various food courts of the campus. There is a build names as DSW where to learn activities like dance , singing , painting and many more which really help people to socialise and make friends beyond their classes. Teachers and staff are supportive, they respect your thoughts, and try to help you in best way they can. This college is in Phagwara, punjab . This place is really safe and for girls too.
LPU’s campus is huge and well built, almost like a small town. There are big academic blocks, computer labs with enough systems, libraries, food courts and places to sit and relax. Wi-Fi works most of the time, and labs are good enough for coding and project work. Everything you need is available inside the campus itself.
In CSE, the subjects cover programming, data structures, databases, web development and new tech topics. Classes happen regularly, but learning depends a lot on how serious the student is. Teachers help if you ask, but you can’t depend only on lectures. Final year focuses more on projects and real skills. There are coding labs, hackathons, workshops and online courses. Many students work on projects, certifications and internships along with college.
Placements are good in numbers, but results vary. Many companies come to campus, especially IT and service-based companies. Some students get good packages, some get average ones, and some look outside campus. Your coding skills, projects and confidence matter more than anything.
Fees are on the higher side, but facilities and exposure are also big. If we work hard, learn skills and use campus resources properly, the experience feels worth the money.
Campus life at LPU is very active and lively. There is always something happening events, fests, competitions or club activities. we meet students from all over India and even other countries. Hostel life teaches independence, and friendships make the college journey memorable.
LPU is a place where opportunities are everywhere, but success depends on how smartly and seriously you use them.
Hello,
Yes, there are placements after a PhD in Sociology from Lovely Professional University according to their previous year records. Students usually get to apply at other universities and colleges as Professors and Assistant Professors. You can also apply individually after the completion of your PhD from LPU at popular
