Sir my obc ranking is 4200 can i get a seat for CS in NIT calicut at least at the last round?

Your OBC ranking is good enough to get CSE branch in NIT Calicut but depends on the online counseling procedure that how many rounds it will be take to qualify your admission in NIT Calicut.

Don't worry very much because your rank is good and you will get admission in CSE branch, NIT Calicut is one of the best engineering college of India which provides quality education to its students and make them able to face any problem in the future.

So you must participate in the online counseling procedure and fill the top colleges with CSE branch you want and you must be acquire seat in NIT Calicut.

Sir. I got 87.5 percentile in jee main . Is there any chance to get admission in nit Calicut? I scored 91.5 in BArch.

Hi Joji!

In National Institute of Technology, Calicut in the Chemical branch, the closing rank for home state candidate was 19794. Also the closing rank through All India quota in Biotech branch was 18134. So there may be slight hope. But the cut off marks gets modified each year as there are lots of candidates appearing and seats gets filled accordingly on rank achieved.

Getting a seat in NIT Calicut CSE depends on state of domicile too.

If you are from the state of kerala then you can get CSE in initial rounds under home state quota ( no need to wait for spot round )

If you are not from that state it is very difficult for you to get under other state quota ( even in spot round ).

Based on your jee mains percentile score and category rank, you have no chances of getting admission in NIT Calicut with any branch.
Try for admission in private colleges based on your jee mains percentile score.

What is expected cutoff rank in nit calicut for cs and ece for hs 2019

Hello Gokul,
The exact cutoffs have not been announced yet. The cutoffs depend upon several factors like number of students appearing for the exam, number of seats available, difficulty level of the paper etc so it may vary a little from the previous year cutoffs. The closing rank of year 2018 for students having home state quota in NIT Calicut for Computer science and engineering was 8439 for general category students. For Electronics and communication engineering, the closing rank was 13365 for general category students having home state quota in year 2018. In year 2017, the closing rank for CSE for students of general category having home state quota was 15208, the closing rank for ECE was 19827 for general category students of home state quota.

Igot 97.69 percentile and my rank is 26142 CRL what is the chance of getting admission in NIT calicut

Congratulations on your rank in JEE Mains.
With your rank of 26142, according to previous year cutoffs of NIT Calicut and assuming that you are a general candidate who doesn't have home state quota, you can get Biotechnology engineering whose closing rank was 29514. The closing rank for Production engineering was 25276 in year 2018 which is close to your rank. Please keep in mind that cutoffs depend upin several factors like number of students appearing for the examination, number of seats available, difficulty level of the paper etc.

Also, One thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. But, you stand on the safe zone only. NIT Calicut has outstanding infrastructure that fully supports academic and personal development. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids. The laboratories are well-maintained, advanced, and updated with the latest equipment. The central library is vast, with an excellent collection of books, journals, and digital resources. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, including in hostels, ensuring uninterrupted access to learning materials.

Giving review on my college is a good experience.

College Infrastructure

We are having good lab facilities,xerox shops, but in hostel canteen facilities are not there. There are canteens in campus,but inside hostel,canteen facility is nill.stationary, xerox facility is there , also study rooms, common room facility is good. But wifi may trouble sometimes ????

It was life changing to be here in the first place.

One of the largest engineering colleges in Kerala build a long time back standing out in infrastructure and a large campus. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate the large population of students, especially the first year classrooms, seminar halls and auditoriums are the finest. Regular maintainance of living spaces keeps it clean and tidy. Food is good offering us to try a very vast variety of cuisines across India all in one place.
