Hello Aspirant,
I would recommend you IIEST Shibpur for civil engineering because both the college's are great in terms of infrastructure, facilities, faculty etc but when our branch and it's placements and learning is concerned IIEST Shibpur wins over NIT Durgapur as NIT Durgapur is great for CS students but for civil engineering IIEST Shibpur is great as it has witnessed students with great placements with attractive salary packages.
Hope this helps
Good Luck

Hello Aspirant,
You have other state quota so it is very difficult to get seat in NIT Durgapur with mechanical branch but you can go for other college or other branch. Also you can go for state college counselling their you can get seat.
From the given link you can predict your college:-

Also you can check the other branch cut off in NIT Durgapur:-

Hello Mate....
The college atmosphere is a very important criteria to choose the college during counselling time.If we compare both the college ie IIIT Guwahati and NIT Durgapur , we can easily find that NIT Durgapur is one of the old and prestigious college of India whereas IIIT Guwahati is a PPP based model IIIT and it's a very new IIIT. So in this matter NIT Durgapur is better one . In NIT Durgapur u will get a better coding environment NIT Durgapur is old and included in top nits of India. It's placement is also very good in CSE branch . In IIIT Guwahati the first batch is passed 2017 and their placement was satisfactory. So in my opinion you must join CSE Durgapur.
If we say about placement of colleges
IIIT Guwahati (ECE) 5-6LPA average salary
NIT Durgapur (CSE) 10-12 LPA average salary
Best of luck
Hi Aspirant,
If you want a comparison between two colleges in terms of chemical Engineering then obviously NIT Durgapur is much better than NIT Jalandhar. The teaching faculties Of chemical departments are much better than the others and there is quite a good pressure over the four years.Students want to perform research work can perform after the course but job opportunities in India is much lower.
In terms of coding,we get in touch with various competitive coding after we get into college. Moreover there are various technical fest in these colleges where you will learn much about coding.
Regards.
Hello aspirant,
For your doubt my answer is you choose IIIT nit Raipur because it is the best college which suits you among the list.
If you can afford for your career then choose IIIT lucknow because this is also best college but fee structure is high, for CSE fee is nearly 10,00,000. Better you choose nit Raipur.
Which college you can choose it is up to you but choose CSE course in that because it is much helpful in future.
Good luck.
Hello,
According to your question I would say it depends on which category are you planning to apply . If you apply with EWS category then only you might need to submit income certificate or else it is not needed. If you are going to apply for OBC quota then it would not be acceptable because as you mentioned your certificate is issued from Jharkhand then it cannot be used in West Bengal as it is not issued by the central government. If you have land in West Bengal then you might use domicile quota.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
The campus boasts modern infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, and a comprehensive library stocked with the latest resources. High-speed Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the campus, facilitating seamless online learning. Hostel facilities are commendable, offering clean rooms and hygienic food. Sports complexes and recreational areas are well-maintained, promoting a balanced student life.
NIT Durgapur has some very old buildings, but the newly formed Academic block, utkarsh bhawan is very good infrastructures. Library also good. Senior hostels are little bit less maintained, but hostels for 1st year and 2nd years are good.
Not par with the NIT standard. Sports could be better, lots of unutilized area in campus. Academics is good, most professors are interactive. Good club culture, allows student to learn outside of academics.
